JRC Global Buffet - Wood Green in Haringey

My friend had her birthday at this venue and cosmopolitan crowd, family friendly good facilities. Closed early but Wood Green has a lot to offer. The menu is fabulous!!! And we took some home, (that is usually one of my favourite things). Great fun had by all. Self served as an open buffet. Vegetarian dishes are great and drinks too. Facilities are good and all government guidelines are still in place. Therefore, keep up the hygiene requirements for our health and well-being. Go see this place and take the children they love it...enjoy and give a good review...bless

The personal is rude and looked untidy. We came at 14.02 and instead of talking normally he shouted at us and said that they were closed at 2 pm. Instead he let his friend come in although he came the same time as we did. He just said that he is his friend. I am very disappointed and upset that such personal works there. There is absolutely no client orientation. And when I said that I have to leave my review, he said he doesn’t care. So upsetting. I really hope that the staff could be more educated and polite.

On entry you have to pay and I think its quiet bad that you have to pay for children over a certain height. As I have tall children and have to pay adult price for her although she is under 10.The food is nice and a good selection, they provide free tap water. However any other drink is very pricey and is not refillable. The tables are so close together we may aswell be sharing a table and inviting them to join in on our conversation.The staff were nice and the toilets were clean.

I have had the opportunity to visit several of these chain restaurant. However, the the food offering here was very limited, in comparison to the other venues. Another disappointment was that there were no refill drinks, which we had to purchase separately at an additional cost turned out to be an expensive meal. On a positive note the staff was really helpful. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Absolutely disgusting staff members, one was overheard saying can she punch this blonde bi@ch, referring to my friend, when confronted became very aggressive and confrontational and I was there with my young child. The managers did not care and were seen laughing about it and done absolutely nothing, the food was also cold and stale. I do not know how these people are allowed to continue working here as it seems a pattern after reading these reviews, especially the female bar staff. All I see here is a cut and pasted answer from the "owner" and nothing being done. Feedback has been sent to the branch and head office, people do not go out to be abused!!

Arrived at 17:30 when restaurant opened.There was dried old food on the chairs we sat at.There was food stuck to 3 of the forks on our table.When we told the lady staff member she rolled her eyes and said “well they go in the dishwasher so just be clean”When we told her about the chairs she said “get up” and brushed the food off and walked off. She came back with new forks and threw them on the table.She was obviously annoyed with that because when I walked up to get my food I was trying to get to a certain dish and she just stood there and looked at me. When I said excuse me please she just started walking into me and not around me so I could get the food.The cake area had loads of flies that are not seen at first, but when you take a piece of cake they all fly off.They only have English dish (chicken nuggets and chips)Chinese and 2 curries. Not much of a buffet like advertised.Would I go back? No wayWould I recommend to a friend? No, not at all.This may just be the Wood Green branch but I will not be attending any others to change my judgment. I cannot waste anymore money on such a bad, horrible and disgusting experience

Flies everywhere, cold food and general bad service will be requesting a refund from head office. I would have paid £50 if the food was good but it was soo bad. Quality has gone downhillI wouldn’t advise to go there unless you want food poisoning

I really like some of the foods here, some were abit basic, no chocolate fountain i think i prefer the romford one for the full experience but really nice quick lunch or dinner

So delicious, will definitely come back! Even though I was there for lunch, there were many options to choose from, such as three different curries and three types of noodles. The food was hot and fresh, and the staff members would go around stirring the dishes to ensure they were being kept warm. Also, the chicken dishes were all so juicy and tender, I can’t wait to eat here again :)
