Just had the most delicious food 😋. It is so tasty. The vegetarian and vegan selection is fantastic. I would definitely recommend here. Love Majjos ❤️

Great tasting food (except the chicken korma, quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever been served. A salty oily broth with unseasoned/marinated boiled anaemic meat is not a curry, see photo). As many other reviews have mentioned, the portion sizes are not meeting expectations. Would be useful to have the weight on the website to avoid confusion. The small portions are about the size of my palm, something to be aware of. I would also argue meat is not their forte as when ordering veg only previously, it was a delight. And yes you do need to heat up at home which should be mentioned more clearly, but really not a problem. Samosas are great. However, put all this together and I would hesitate to recommend.

Where to start …. A) NO WHERE on the menu does it say the takeaway is served cold to be reheated at home - that an Indian restaurant is reworked as a deli is beyond bizarre B) the portions are very very small C) The food just did not taste good at all…. D) Could not actually finish the food as it was ridiculously salty. There’s really no excuse for such a bad set up in this day and age.

Amazing place, I've been many times and it always gives great tasting food. A little bit pricey but you can taste that the quality is high. The veggie samosas are also amazing.

Absolutely love Majjo's. Delicious dishes. The flavours are wonderful and very unique. I have been going to this family run restaurant for many years and everytime I go, I always enjoy a good chat with Majjo's. You won't get better curry anywhere else. My favourite dish is slow cooked lamb curry and their naan breads. It melts in your mouth.

Majjo's delicious, fresh, home-made Indian food is amazing. I'm completely addicted to the paneer tikka and there's a fantastic vegetarian selection, plus the staff are lovely! We're so lucky to have it in our area. Can't recommend it enough.

I think some people miss the point...the food is cold for you to warm up at your leisure!!!I have been going here since it opened more or less. It's as good as ever.We only get veg items. Always perfect. The yam is a staple and ... wonderful. Matar paneer just great. The chap who usually serves customers is a nice friendly chap which always helps. What's not to like?Price?...well go and buy cheaper, inferior food if you like. It's not cheap but the quality is high...

I've been eating Majjo's for the last 7 years or so, what sets Majjo's apart from other Indian takeaway's is the variety of dishes available which are home recipes, flavours which you may not find anywhere else! The flavours are always fresh and really stimulate your palate. They also opened a sit in restaurant some years ago with the welcome addition of a BBQ style mixed meat platter which is always my favourite, the lamb chops, seekh kebab and chicken tikka are very nice and succulent. I always look forward to their BBQ platter or takeaway especially when the slow cooked Lamb Nihari is available! My favourite Indian takeaway by far, family run, authentic and community oriented!

Food is tasty but these are by far unreasonably small portions for the price. I'm sure they'd get more business if they created more value for the consumer. I'm a repeat customer but only occasionally, would consider going more frequently if portions were bigger for the steep price. Picture shows standard takeaway vs Majjo's large portion.
