New Happy Swan in Haringey

I love this place. I have been coming here since I was a small child... So about 40 years. Still the same family and the same lovely values..... Also the brilliant food. Thank you ❣️

I cant believe I've only just tried this place, food was great and very reasonable prices. Service was excellent and the restaurant decor couldnt have been more appropriate for a chinese restaurant, and to make our evening even better both my mother and I got a rose each as we visited on valentines day. Thank you so much again and I will surely be back.

Was. A lovely meal just a bit disappointed with the kung Po King prawns. They didn't need to be butterflied out... The sesame prawn toasts crispy duck and Singapore noodles were fantastic.. Lovely friendly service as well

Went there for the first time today and ordered Singapore Vermicelli for take out; very good.Good service.Now I can say that Muswell Hill has a Chinese take away.

Have ordered takeaway from here twice and food is always ready in less than 15 mins, staff seem really friendly and food is delicious! Will have to try eating in sometime :)

The food here is really very good, but as a business, the service is very erratic. Quite often they close randomly without any warning. But today really took the biscuit. They stated that they would be open on Boxing Day so we placed an order through Just Eat. Everything went through and it said it would be arriving at 6.30. At 6.05 I checked the page and it said our order had been cancelled! No email or call to advise why. When we called the restaurant the recorded answerphone message said they would be closed all week! But they hadn't bothered to update their website, Google opening times or Just Eat. We had to place an order with another restaurant and wait another hour for our food. Very disappointed.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! 10/10 ! We ordered and collected a takeaway (set menu) such a great value for 2 and every meal was delicious! Great duck pancakes! Starters were delicious especially the thick prawn toast. Wonderful service from the lovely lady in there- looking forward to visiting after lockdown ends. The meal was ready in 15/20 minutes, very hot and fresh. Recommend HIGHLY!! See you soon :) x

Don't order from this restaurant. They will take your money, then they will ignore your calls when you call to ask where your food is, they will lie when they text you after you message them asking where your food is, then hang up on you when you finally get through (on a different number because they're knowingly avoiding you) and when your food comes, the order will be wrong. The woman who I spoke to was abysmally rude and refused my request for a refund despite me waiting over 90 minutes past delivery time. I would have given them zero stars but unfortunately, that's not a possibility. If the food was going to be late, all they had to do was let us know, it wouldn't have been an issue but this was apparently asking too much - along with answering the phone, which to be honest is where half the frustration lies, it's just unprofessional and rude.I understand this is a pandemic and everyone is stretched thin and everything else but the service here is nonexistent. I've never had such bad service. First time ordering and will never do so again. Back to Kim Wah for Chinese food.

When you think of a Chinese restaurant THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!Wether you watch a Hollywood film and you see what a Chinese restaurant looks like there or you want an authentic well more western idea of authentic Chinese restaurant it ticks every single box not forgetting to mention the food was delicious.Just seems like a very well run family business with all children's pictures who have gone to university behind the bar making it feel even more of a reason to support your local business as it is supporting a hard working family business like this.I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice and seaweed with my wife ordering the duck, they were all better than one another couldn't recommend it more.I think what I was trying to get across is maybe it just helped me relive a childhood memory as that's how i would have wanted to imagine where I was taken lol.
