Oshobasho Cafe in Haringey

One of my friends and me have a lovely brunch last Sunday here. We walk in, so no need for a reservation. They have a lot of options for breakfast and lunch, also kids menu. Place is small but cosy and the service was really welcoming and friendly. A must to visit if you are around Green lanes.

This is my local cafe. Since the day it has opened, I have my morning cafe and breakfast there almost every day. I know the owners, the chef and the staff. I feel myself lucky to have a fantastic place, with the best coffee and brunch menu in North London, amazing staff and fabulous service. I am taking the risk of making the place more popular by reviewing. Good news is that they started serving yummy tapas in the evenings and I am sure some of the custom will be directed to evenings soon.

Aesthetically pleasing everything looks great but the cutlery cups and plates smell like egg. If you end up getting a seat near the kitche the smell would be extremely overwhelming. It took 30 minutes to be seated and there was no one ahead of us in the queue. The coffee was the only reason I gave two stars. Quality coffee but not somewhere I'd eat again.

Great place for brunch, i had the veggie breakfast and my friends had the taste of mediterranean (pictured). The best thing was that there were so many different items on the plate (especially plantain my favourite) and both portions and price were good. The restaurant is quite small however, we got there around 10am on a saturday and luckily got the last table. Service was slightly slow at times but the food was great.

Upon entering this cafe, I was greeted with the aroma of coffee, and the ambience took ahold of me. We were seated swiftly, but unfortunately we were not able to sit at the swing table. Nevertheless, we looked at the varied menu and ordered drinks. My flat white with coconut milk was silky smooth and the coffee was of a high standard. My friend was not a fan of the turmeric latte , however. The food took a while, but when it came, it was clear that it was worth the wait. The food was plated nicely, and tasted fantastic. I would highly recommend the Veggie with falafel, and my friends loved the Twisted Shakshuka and Slat Beef Bagel. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Would come again. However there was no bin in the bathroom, which is a bit of an inconvenience.

A great find for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning - I was lucky and got a table, but I was the last with out booking and they were turning people who hadn’t booked away: in itself a great sign of local popularity, but also a great hint to book in advance. The menu was extensive, very reasonably priced, and although I only had croissant and coffee, nicely served, and with a pleasant and very welcoming friendly smile. The place itself is industrial chic and has a great atmosphere. I’d happily go again.

Lovely little cafe famous with their "eye" coffees. I recommend the French toast, it comes with lots of fruits and honey and is properly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Tip: if you are coming for a weekend brunch, come before 11 am as tables tend to be fully taken by then.

One of the best brunch food in London, very reasonably priced too. I loved the beetroot latte, really extraordinary. All the food and drinks we had were amazing, 5 stars.

Everything was slow, understandable. Food overpriced slightly but taste fine, understandable. Incredibly rude/ irresponsible staff, unacceptable. Food delivered with no cutlery, asked, waited and waited. Have to get up myself and grab them. Ordered an omelette with cheese, mushroom & spinach but came back with just omelette with cheese. Asked for clarification but waiter said he confirmed that with me. Got the menu again and reviewed at the item I pointed, there is no such item as a standalone cheese omelette, it's definitely with spinach, cheese and mushroom. Didn't mind about the wrong delivery of food but the attitude is unacceptable as a customer service point of view. Good that another lady came over and resolved the issue professionally or else I would have given 0 star.
