Sumak Restaurant in Haringey

It was a great experience from the start, first time eating there but we were greeted in a very friendly manner as if we had been going there for years. The food was fantastic and well priced. The baklava was particularly good and was a nice indulgent treat to have after the meal.

Still a good solid Turkish Restaurant. Nice food, very well cooked and presented and plenty of seating, although it gets busy and quite noisy at the weekends. They're not that great on alcohol but there's a few different lagers (no real ales)and a couple of wines and a few other drinks. This is a good family restaurant.

Fairly professionally run Turkish place. Has some okay lunch deals. Chicken kulbasti - basically a grilled breast or fillet, took a while to arrive but came with a very comprehensive salad and good plate of hummus and tasty bread. I'll probably try one of the kebabs next time. Spacious and clean.

Had my sister in laws 60th birthday here. 20 of us, all having an array of different dishes. Service was great and efficient. I had Sea Bass which was good and plentiful, the small Shish Kebab is small! Dips and salads bought out pre main meals were plentiful.

Really delicious , amazing generous portions . Lots of incredible side dishes. Polite fast efficient service. Highly recommend

Nearly every time we visit family in London we visit Sumak, and everytime the food is lovely. The best thing about the restaurant is the atmosphere as it always has a really lovely buzz about it. Starters are great, and the mains are pretty big. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Consistently great amd always so kind and welcoming to my elderly parents.

Back in Crouch End after a long absence, and Sumak is the thing I have missed most about not being here. Got a superb takeaway for myself and a friend tonight. Everything was top notch as always and excellent value.

Tasty food - my favourite is their Adana kebab. Good service: All staff were very welcoming and made sure to greet everyone.

Some lovely dishes but a little 'hit and miss' ... the tabbouleh was gorgeous, the bread was fresh, the picked cabbage amazing. All the cooking was very good but the ingredients lacked. The falafel looked and tasted frozen, pre-bought and stogy. Not nice... the chicken was beautifully cooked but not good quality. The meat was cheap I think. But I'm a bit of a nerd for free-range happy animals... they taste so much better. Anyway was a great meal but let down a little by corner cutting.
