Taksim Cafe in Haringey

Extremely disappointed.Went in for brunch on a Saturday (March '22). Quite busy.We waited a long time for our food, and it was only after seeing people who arrived after us receive theirs before us, that we realised that ours had been forgotten. (None of the cooked dishes should have taken long). The food then came out, after a short wait longer. However, every extra, the tea, side dish, and cutlery, had to be reminded to them. Nothing tasted exceptional, good or otherwise,, but just seemed rather bland.You may have a better experience than we did,, but Saturdays are not a recommended time to visit (until they improve on their staffing issue).The decor of the place is nice though.

Very popular with the locals, and with good reason: some of the best gozleme in London, excellent menemene, fantastic smoothie, nice breakfast, friendly service, competitive prices... What's not to like? Note: this place is cash-only

The menemen with sucuk sausage was incredible! And the staff were so happy and polite and gave us a free churro!

Was walking by when we see a very friendly lady cooking in the cafe window. Was tempted to buy a freshly made spicy lamb gozeleme for the first time to take away.Was welcomed inside by her son to wait.Super friendly and great value at £4 and very tasty. Good Decision.

Recommended to come here and so glad we did. Food was delicious and staff really friendly.

I have never tried this kind of food before. Had Gozleme flatbread stuffed with spinach & humus... so vegan options are available. The lady at the front makes all the food fresh in front of you. Nice but a bit bland to my liking. Very messy takeway! Affordable price. Nice experience.

The food was very nice and Turkish. The lady at the front makes all the food fresh in front of you. The price is very affordable and cheap for most of the breakfast menu. The costumer service is very good. Definetly recomend this place to authentic Turkish food lovers!

Went here for breakfast,When you go in you assume everything is made fresh , but not quite the case .. nice mix of cheese but the pastry items felt like they sat somewhere for a while - bearing in mind we came 10AM. Not sure where they got the idea to add chips for breakfast.. not very TurkishStaff are great and service is very good .. breakfast was ok, having said all ofThis I wouldn’t drive more than 15 minutes to reach this place

Love this cozy Turkish place, you will never find this feel- at -home atmosphere restaurant on Time out this kind of media. Generous volume, It's not my top one place for kebab meat dishes but definitely top one for homemade baklava and gozleme!
