Well I liked it. Thursday night and and it wasn't overly crowded. It was a tad loud with voices echoing around making it difficult to hear my friend....but, I think that's more an age thing. The food was terrific. I have no food photos because, frankly, I was enjoying my trout and beetroot dish too much. Shared the chocolate mousse with popcorn dessert which was rich and tasty. I do recommend the Bull and will go again some time.

First time coming here and overall we really enjoyed our time here. The service was spot on, not too rushed, friendly and helpful. We didn’t order from the main menu but had a few bits… the truffle/Parmesan chips really were delicious and the buffalo wings, whilst a tad too expensive (or just too small a portion) were also really tasty. Tried their locally brewed IPAs which were OK, not amazing. But I’d like to go back and try some of their other beers as and when they are brewed. Overall a great pub and will definitely be returning.

nice warm atmosphere with a good pub menu and more besides - staff are always knowledgeable and friendly - we have been many times before and never had a bad experience-

Overall was good. What we found is we came to the table after two mins someone was asking if we want to order sth / after 2 mins another staff came and asked again. We were asked three times since we arrived after 10 mins. We understand that it was a Friday night and of course we knew u need the table back by 8.30! This was too much! We were not feeling relaxing at all.Regarding the food. We really liked the Ribs its tasty however, with £25 we expected the ribs was bigger and bigger salad. Burrata was a joke , came plain with two small cubes of burnt bread.Anyway, overall was okay. Food was okay a bit overpriced though. maybe because of pandemic?

Yummy Sunday roast and a nice, comfy pub. The staff was positive and helpful. Good experience!

The Bull has been an enjoyable experience on several occasions. The food is good, without being pretentious about itself. The vibe is relatively relaxed while clean and polite. And the staff are very nice. All round a very good local for meeting up with a friend in the evening or a long brunch en famille.

I don't often give a Five-Star rating but The Bull came pretty close. We enjoyed a lovely Chilean Sauvignon Blanc; beautifully smooth, low acidity, zero tannins.Feeling peckish went for Broadbean Falafels in a broadbean puree; delicious if a bit dry; and nutty Pyreneen Chevre served with the most amazing apricot chutney.RECOMMENDED for a local treat.
