Lovely family roast lunch on Sunday. Food was amazing, fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and attending to our table. Will definitely come back again and recommending it.

Decent pub grub usually and have had some nice nights here just drinking before when they had live music on a Fri/Sat night a while ago before Covid-19.Tonight we went for dinner and, for a start, the service wasn't great aside from one thoughtful waitress who thought to offer my dog some water. What annoyed me most was that I was asked 4 times whether I had finished my dinner, 2 of those times I was actively still chewing and still had knife and fork in hand! Also the waitress seemed to struggle with the concept of veganism being different to vegetarianism which was a little worrying and frustrating to have to explain. My vegan dish sounded much better than it was. Unfortunately mine was pretty dry and just a bit boring lacking in flavour. I wish I had got the risotto again! It was lovely last time!My friend ordered the pork belly which was fine other than that it came with an actual apple pie. I'm familiar with the pairing of pork and apple but this was an actual apple pie with a sweet apple filling. My friend found this pretty odd and it just didn't work. Our vegan biscoff cheesecake was lovely but it was a really big chunk and the strawberry sauce over it didn't really work for me as a combination. All things considered I'd probably have to give it a 6/10 tonight.

Lovely pub. The staff is amazing and always tries to make you feel welcome, whether your bill is £100 or £3, which is so appreciated in this area. I found the food quite yummy despite recent reviews, maybe just a bad day. Speed for food could improve.

Really nice pub. Stopped for a drink while waiting for taxi. Very friendly staff, even let me charge my phone and the beer was good. I didn't eat but the food smelt great.

I come here every couple of weeks with my boyfriend to have fish and chips and it never disappoints! My boyfriend is a bit more adventurous and has tried a few more of the dishes, which he always enjoys. Absolutely fantastic every time!

Came in for a late, quiet Sunday lunch however it was extremely noisy. We do appreciate that this was not the pub's fault. Had the nut roast which was very poorly presented. The nut roast had just been slopped over the roast potatoes and veg so they weren't actually visible until you dug underneath. It was disappointing as we had a nut roast here some years ago which was delicious and beautfilly presented.

First time here for a late lunch today. Wasn’t to busy. had table service and the staff I met was friendly and lovely. The food though was not as great. The salad that came with the Korean fried chicken looked like it has been left out for hours; the edges of the vegetables had dried. Also looked like the pre mixed salad from the supermarket. The seafood linguine portion was decent; but unfortunately did not taste of seafood or tomatoes. Not a great first impression on the food. The outside tables are very cosy, has wooden booths that sits 4 comfortably. The outside was dog friendly, unsure about inside. Will check next time.

The food is just awful.Korean fried chicken (£6.50) was rubbery, soggy and lacked flavour. The accompanying side salad was stale and wilted (see photo). The Shredded Duck Salad (£14) was terrible. The only flavour evident in the salad was that of staleness. The bag this salad was taken from was clearly out of date, or had been left open in the fridge for a long time as it was dry and wilted (see photo). The food was returned to the kitchen but no replacement or refund offered and I left just as hungry as I arrived.. truly disappointing as the location is great.

Lovely pub to sit after a hard day's work! A local gem where I love to come and chill out. Good food. Great staff who always make you feel welcome. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
