I've been going here regularly for the last few months and thought it was time to leave a review.Like others have said, this pub is fantastic and, even though its a little far to be considered my local, it has become my local! The pub itself is nicely decorated and kept very clean and tidy. It has a cosy fireplace area that is sometimes used for open mic nights and for showing sporting events. If this isn't your thing, then the other side of the pub has no TV screens and allows for relaxed conversation even on busy evenings. The drink options are very good and they have guest beers that change regularly. I'm not a huge beer drinker but I never struggle to find a beer that I like. The wine is very good for a pub too, which was a pleasant surprise to me. (I'm sure I will work my way through the whole list in time!)The food is *fantastic* and have yet to have a bad meal here. I recommend the Korean chicken wings as an appetiser, and the steak or pork belly are my personal favorite main courses. And last, but by no means least, the staff are excellent! So polite, hardworking and friendly. The staff are actually one of the main reasons we keep coming back here and we are made to feel very welcome. So if you do go and have a meal here, please do leave a tip as the staff absolutely deserve it!Looking forward to going back again soon.

Food quality has gone downhill massively in the past year. I'm curious as to what has changed, but it feels hit and miss as to whether your meal will be nice, or feel like it's just been chucked in the microwave. Not sure if they've changed kitchen staff, or ingredients, but my last meal was massively disappointing and has put me off returning for food. The person I was eating with, agreed it wasn't very good and left the majority of their food. We were compensated with a couple of free drinks, but it was still a very awkward situation. Considering the price for a burger was upwards of £13 (if I recall correctly), I'd rather have had a burger from a chicken shop (that's saying a lot)...An okay selection of beers on draught, though doesn't compete with the selection at a couple of other local pubs.Drinks prices are slightly better than other local pubs, though considering it's zone 3/4, I find £5 - £6 a lot for a pint, especially with a fantastic Wetherspoons just 10 minutes away, where you're able to get a pint of Brewdog for half the price of a basic lager at this place.I don't know, it's a shame. This used to be my regular and I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and drinks. Since Covid, it really has gone down hill quite a bit, especially the food. The drinks selection no longer competes with the local Spoons, or other local pubs.

One of the best pubs I ever been to. I keep returning after nearly 20 years and the standards have only gotten better. I love the food, drink and the environment. The staff are just the best and extremely friendly and helpful. You just cannot go wrong at The Ranelagh. 5*

I am a regular at The Ranelagh, the atmosphere is great. It has a lovely indoor space and decor, and a very nice and enclosed beer garden. The food is great, and the staff always very friendly and helpful. I recently made a mistake with my order, Mia was a star and kindly got everything sorted. I highly recommend The Ranelagh.

UPDATE: The new style of crumbed calamari is awful. SO much thick batter I couldn't even taste the squid. Just heavy crusty fried crumbs. Check out my photos for the difference. It was sad to see the change from delecate lightly dusted high quality seafood to undetectable slithers of rubber in mountains of fried crumb.ORIGINAL: Lovely pub - an open fire and great crowd. The staff are brilliant (really professional yet warm and helpful) and the beer garden is beautiful. Worth a visit!

A solid local pub. Good range of drinks for everyone. Friendly locals and a spacious beer garden open all season round. Been going here for the best part of a decade and the quality of service has always been great!

Excellent traditional pub with friendly staff who work well as a team. Spacious, with large secluded garden, and a variety of seating. Always clean. Meals are tasty.

One of the nicest pubs in London. Great beer selection, great food, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere and a beer garden. If it was somewhere else, you'd never get a table.

My favourite place for their great atmosphere and best roast in town! Staff is always very attentive. We went for lunch today and Mia looked after us so well. Thanks!
