Sadly the excellent steaks travelled from Hackney for, and I luckily called before making a journey tonight. Order food in from elsewhere seems odd never heard of it before!Sadly I can't think why I need to visit again a real shame.

Really nice place with plenty of space. It's quite clean and the vibe is easy. It's got a pretty decent outside area with shady and sunny tables available. Unfortunately they don't serve food but apparently you can order in (unconfirmed). I will go back again :)

Great fun , relaxed atmosphere and good service .. Until it kicked of , towards the end of the night and then there was a full scale punch up and the security waded in using physical tactics to get rid of the yobbos .. claret everywhere and broken glasses and women screaming screeching yelling at the onslaught of violence and the barrage of verbal abuse hurled in different directions.. .APART FROM THAT IT WAS A REASONABLE EVENING .

great public pub good beer good service, shame they didn't have food on but they did allow food brought in fair do`s.

They are open!!!! 🍻 Super clean and now with a beautifully refurbished beer garden 🌱🌿🌸 Had my first pint of Guinness in 3 months and it was a beautiful thing 🖤 Covid precautions are in place and the staff are as lovely as ever. It's my local now 😁 I'm chuffed to have a proper English pub down the street. Sports for all sorts, plenty of indoor/ outdoor seating and a great mix of locals.

Nice local bar only popped in for a quick pint but really enjoyed it. Nice and clean with good Covid regulations.

Quite disappointed. Came when it wasn't that busy with a party of 8 people to be turned away. Considering we were all from Scouting and just wanted a quiet place to sit, chill, have some food. Quite appauled by the service. Would have happily waited until the food arrived. Used to be my go to place when camping nearby. Definitely not now. Much nicer pub further down the road.

Visited this evening 2000hrs surprised it was so quiet but the food was the goal not crowds. Ordered the surf and turf and it arrived pretty damn fast but as flying single there was no wait for other meals to cook. Piping hot very tasty artfully arranged and too much to finish. Great chef here tonight I hope he is in again as this place is on my repeat visit list. Bar staff was charming and always smiling so glad I popped in when passing.

I have been visiting this pub regularly since it was refurbished almost 3 years ago and I can only say I am delighted to have this place close to home. The food selection is quite good and decently priced. The kitchen and waiting staff are very friendly and they actually show appreciation for their customers. Nothing is too difficult for them; they are always flexible (and very patient!!) when I ask to swap things in my food orders or simply split them in half so that I can share them with my partner. I am happy to take friends and family for a meal there when they come to visit me. You can definitely see this pub does not belong to a chain and their staff really care about their customers!
