HighgatešŗĀ Ā£5.10 Morettiā¤ļø A classy Highgate pub with a warm welcome in relaxing surroundings..I arranged to meet my Sister and Brother in law here prior to exploring the pubs of Highgate and what a great place to start. On arrival you get such a reassuring feeling of calm, this pub just easeās you in to itās surroundings and you immediately feel welcome. Part of this pubs seductive nature is the traditional decor with a few contemporary twists, there is beautiful traditional wood panelling accented by tartan upholstered sofa panels running up the walls, in the colder months the open fire is lit to warm your cockles. There is a large āL shapedā bar which is a good size, so plenty of space to get served. On hot and sunny days there are two outside spaces to while away the time in, I was situated out the front which was very atmospheric. Highgate is renowned for being a posh area of London and I had an expectation that I might pay a bit more over the odds but this is not the case. My pint was just over a fiver which is below average for Moretti in London. For the more cultured drinker guest ales are regularly available. The food offering here is traditional pub grub, fish and chips will set you back Ā£13 which also competitively priced..Highgate is a beautiful well to do enclave of London and a desirable place to live. Venturing out for a few beers here or for a bit of grub is a lovely and enjoyable thing to do. @the_wrestlers_highgate is a great pub experience on many levels but notably this pub makes feel relaxed and invited at the same time, love it..šĀ Information correct on visiting 18/09/21

This lovely pub must have changed the chef again.I had vegetarian burger, it didn't taste much, also were served cold. However ,the staff was very friendly, smily and helpful. They served a hot vegeterian burger, still tasteless though :( Update; we went again, this time just for drinks. Lovely, quaint atmosphere and amazing, friendly staff as always. Next time I'll try the food again.

Youāll get a very warm welcome from friendly staff at this historic pub. Lovely Sunday roasts - well priced - the red cabbage and carrots in particular were so delicious. Amazing fireplace. Nice looking outdoor space. Very clean toilets. Definitely will return. Booking for Sunday lunch recommended.

Great local pub and a nice walk from the top of Hampstead Heath. A great range of roasts with all the necessary trimmings. The lamb was a delicious, generous serve, and the cabbage was probably some of the best I've ever had.

In my opinion the best pub within shouting distance of Highgate village. Great ambience, lovely decor, great staff, warm welcome, tasty food and reasonably priced. What more could you want?

A delicious roast, attentive and friendly staff, a table in front of the fire, and a few glasses of delicious red too! It was the perfect Sunday lunch.

Been waiting to come here to try a roast for a few weeks now as the reviews suggested it was good. I'm only giving a star because my partner liked the fireplace. Disgusting from concentrate orange juice and a roast that I'm sure a 5 year old could of done better with. No real flavour and arrived slightly cold. Poor!

To be honest, not great. Outside back garden stank of smoke, however the table was clean. The menu has some really good options, however the menu isn't totally the same as the online one before you get your hopes up. Drinks were quick to be brought over and so was the starters and main. We booked for 7pm, by the time they took our dinner plates it was 8pm... they had been waiting there a while. Then when we asked about their pudding options (3 very good options) the waiter said that the kitchen had already closed. I feel like a warning would have been nice. So we walked to tesco to get our pudding. Not sure I'd recommend in all honesty.
