First time ever and we enjoyed it :) Fish cakes were lovely!

Have had both dine-in and takeaway options here and it is always been great either way. Their homemade tartar sauce is absolutely delicious and I'm a big fan of their curry sauce as well. Generous portions and always good quality, so I always try to pick some up when I'm in the area.

Lovely food, does take a while before you get your order. They cook it fresh, and it's extremely hot when brought to your table. Do not go here during work lunch, you're never going to make it back on time.

Surviving on over-inflated reputation. Went yesterday for a simple chip cone. Sat near Planet Organic to eat and yes, again, warm chips on top, crunchy bits underneath. First time previously, I had the same with a sausage for the dog. Chips lukewarm and obviously reheated; dog was sick from the sausage. Don't bother. Terrible value and unhygienic. And don't distinct with false 'reviews'.

Love Toff's of Muswell Hill. Food is always so well prepared. Our go-to Friday evening gorgeous meal. The queue was extremely long, as always, each Friday. However, definitely worth the wait! Lol!! In the words of Arnie, 'I'll be back' 😀

If you eat in, the only option for fish and chips is the 15£ plate that could probably feed two people. "Regular" sized is only for takeaway.I spent 20 minutes waiting for the fish to cool down enough to not burn my tongue. It was still too hot to taste. The fries were just big sticks of potato - no salt, and not particularly crispy.There are food trucks in Ally Pally for half the price, and the food is probably better.

Always seems to get 5 stars and wins awards but I always tend to be underwhelmed when I come here. Maybe it’s me. Maybe it needed gravy. Chips perfectly fine, but the fish (cod) and batter just very “meh”. Bonus mention for the speedy takeaway service, ideal when hungry! Thanks Toffs

It was a really outstanding place. It is my discovery of the year. Truly with some of the best fish and chips in London, definitely in my top three. The service was brilliant, even though they were busy the food came swiftly throughout.The calamari was tender and delicious. The Cod and Haddock were brilliant. The the dessert was the best.I will be going back again very soon.Advice if you are going to eat in book in advance as they are really busy.

Amazing as always! The best fish and chips in North London and also an excellent family owned seafood restaurant in general! Definitely try the garlic king prawns and their weekly dessert specials.
