Chennai Chutney in Harrow

If you are from Tamil Nadu and missing home food, this is the place to go, I ordered Idly, masala dosa, ghee roast- everything was very yummy mostly felt like eating authentic food back at home mainly because of the sambar, white coconut chutney and special red spicy chutney- yuummm, special mention to the vegetable kuruma(not korma)- it was truly Tamil Nadu. Waiting to try more dishes...will post photos next time. Chennai chutney is under new management I think and they have moved 3/4 shops from the earlier location

Certain dishes tasted very authentic while others were tasteless. It was really a mixed bag in terms of tastes. Might try out other places in the future.

Management has changed and this place absolutely sucks now! just a money grab! but if you're desperate for south indian/ sri lannkan food then go for it! but its extremely small portions and its extremely over priced for the size/potion of food you receive. An absolute shame!

Great local restaurant... that we actual travel to over an hour away as the food is so great. Been here twice now as a large group. Very laid back and great for the family. Will return! Will also try out the catering side as they will deliver and also do ‘Theatre cooking’.

Great food . Ordered the Chicken Briyani , chicken wings and Masala Dosa . All tasted very good with great flavours . Sweet lassi was nicely made with good taste. The service provided was very welcoming and very friendly . As we were the only family there the food didn’t take too long to come. Test would be to see how these guys would cope when more tables are full up. Definitely would go again.

Had a good experience last Saturday at this restaurant. Chicken Briyani tasted delicious ! Service was excellent as well! Thank you for a good meal. Please maintain your standards. If not, do better. Most of these srilankan / South Indian restaurants start well but then go downhill with service and food taste.

Recently came to know this restaurant 2 months ago and has never stopped going by. Food is amazing, nice authentic south Indian taste. The restaurant ambience is good, nice quantity and quality of food that is very affordable. I will certainly recommend this restaurant for any south Indian food lovers or anyone who loves Indian food or want to give it a try. If I can I will go everyday. They also deliver food & cater for events.

My friends and I ordered online. First of all most of our orders were not enjoyable at all. Second of all we ordered the chicken biryani, it had whole overboiled eggs, chicken bones of various sizes that were not specified in the menu and were a serious choking hazard and also several whole cloves. We complained to the restaurant and they were very rude about all of the concerns we had. If I could give 0/5 I would.

Been to so many curry houses but not like the quick and friendly service from the waiter to own very pleasant people

I have been this place more often, Dosas are best of of the best I can say I never tasted dosas like this in my life!! now I stop queuing for dosas around other local restaurant, because my son love Mutton Biriyani and chicken 65 from this place mouth watering food , seriously go there you will love it but no fancy decoration like other places reasonable price tooI lived in Kingsbury more often I took home delivery, foods are always hot and fresh coconut chutney and sambar seriously you will love itno doubt I can recommended for who love real south indian food
