Flava Caribbean Takeaway in Harrow

Ordered food today. Amazing.Me and my daughter loved it. They ran out of the cake I ordered but gave me an alternative. Thank you. Will be ordering again soon :-)

Great food, service was good but a little slow.My favourite in Harrow.Definetly recommend, just be a little patient.

Only reason I put 4 stars is we waited a while for the delivery but the food was spot on. Tasty well cooked and absolutely gorgeous. I recommend 100 per cent well worth the money

I've been ordering from this place for a while and although the deliveries have often been late as stated by other reviewers, I've overlooked this because the food is really authentic and tastes great.Today I ordered again and they had the fried chicken my mum wanted but not the jerk chicken I was craving. Checked again when her delivery came and was pleasantly surprised to see that the jerk chicken was available again so I naturally placed another order. I then called the restaurant to clarify a dietary requirement and was abruptly told that I would have to wait until someone else from my area ordered because it was a "long way to travel" and they obviously could not tell me how long that would be. Quite ridiculous considering there's a delivery charge and Google Maps states the journey, with current traffic, is 14 minutes. At that point I couldn't be asked to wait for God knows how long so I asked them to cancel the order.Super disappointed that as a paying customer I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply placing an order and supporting their business. If my area is too far then maybe they need to reevaluate which postcodes they're willing to accept orders from to avoid needless disappointment.Bottom line: The food is undoubtedly some of the best Caribbean food I've had in London but the service (or lack thereof) leaves much to be desired.

They have a very low food hygiene rating! The steamed cabbage is literally steamed with no flavour carrots or peppers or anything really... the mac n cheese was literally pasta and grated cheese. The male owner of the company is very rude and aggressive when questioned on his food hygiene rating. Would never return unless he was open to a customer service lesson... or a day of showing him and the chefs how to deliver Caribbean food in general.

The food is absolutely lovely , the place is clean, the lady behind the counter was very polite and her son, well what can I say , he's right little character we enjoyed his company while his momma was busy completing our order. We will definitely order again when we back down from Leicester 👍🏽

I will never order from here again. 1st my order was over half an hour late.2nd when the food did arrive the portions where disgustingly small. I order my daughter a brown stew chicken with hard food small that was what i expected (1 piece of chicken 1dumpling 1 potato 1 piece of yam half a peice of green banana) veg was missed and In one container. I had a medium brown stew chicken with rice n peas and veg, I got a teaspoon of veg and 2 prices of chicken with my rice n one Chinese sized container. Finally my partner had a large oxtail with hard food which also came in one Chinese sized container the exact same amount of hard food which was in the small chicken and 6 pieces of oxtail with a teaspoon of veg may I add as my partner was putting the food on the plate he found hair in it so he didnt eat it. Terrible experience I would not recommend to anyone

Honestly the worst ‘Caribbean’ food I’ve had. Ordered curry goat, rice n peas with Mac n cheese n plantain 2 days ago and I’ve been sick ever since. The curry goat didn’t even look like curry goat, it looked like struggle goat and had ONE tiny bit of potato in it. Very watery and tasteless. The rice n peas was dry, definitely microwaved. The plantain was soggy. The Mac n cheese was made with penne pasta, who on earth makes Mac n cheese with penne pasta. Overall -100/10. I’ve been constantly sick at both ends of my spectrum without getting into too much detail and have reported them to Harrow Council FSA. 2 days on and I’m still suffering, something needs serious inspecting.

The food is amazing, we have spent a long time trying to find a good Caribbean place to order from and Jam N Spice is the one.The food has been spot on and consistent every time, the food turns up really quickly and is piping hot, unlike most other Caribbean places we have got a delivery from.Keep up the good work and cant wait until our next order.

Food was good but portion was small. The lady that served me was super friendly. I had a medium jerk chicken, rice and peas which came all in one container that was slightly deeper than a standard clear plastic container from a Chinese takeaway. For the price I was charged, I was expecting a heartier portion.
