Golden Fountain Chinese Takeaway in Harrow

One of the bloody worst places I've ordered food from. Their large container will not even fill a 3 year old child. The food I got delivered was all cold. BIGGEST MISTAKE ORDERING FROM THIS RESTAURANT. They have this House Special Kung Po and they fill the entire box with just green capsicum and Onions. I tried to all the restaurant for 45 minutes the line is continously busy. I was shocked when I saw their version of Large Container. I've asked for my refund back I hot charged £14 for absolute nonsense food. Its like I was literally eating just capsicum and onions.

It was the first time I used the golden fountain and from the outside it looked ok but the food is amazing and delicious

Avoid. I placed an order online due to arrive in 45 mins. Waited 1hr 15 minutes nothing arrived. O tried calling them for 20 mins no answer. Sent email to them no response. Taking money and can't get hold of them. Be aware and stay away.

We placed a £60 order 1 hour before closing time and they gave us an ETA of 40mins and then 1 hour and 30 minutes later we have received no food and they have now closed!!! AVOID AT LATE NIGHTS

Worst experience. The guy told me to wait for 10 minutes and I waited for half an hour and im the end he says my order is not ready he made another one. And wasted my half an hour unnecessarily.

First and last time that I order from there I have order a large chiken in orange sauce verry different of what they advert and egg rice and i have recived a boild one...not verry tasty and except the sesame bread I wouldn't recomand

Stay away! I bought chow mien, egg fried rice, chicken with mushroom and salt and pepper chicken. Firstly they got my order wrong, secondly the food tasted burnt or like it was cooked in a dirty pan! Literally left all of and I still have the proof in the fridge. Yuck! AVOID.

Delicious and well priced. This take away it is just meters from our home, everything we ordered was yummy. We went to pick it up and order and paid from their website. Great food, recommended!

Really delicious food. Love their salt & pepper mock duck. Our favourite. Mock duck with green pepper in black bean sauce is so yum too. One of our favourite take-away places. Owner is really kind. They saw that our order is all vegetarian so instead of sending free prawn crackers they gave us a free drink. Very thoughtful.

This restaurant is a disgrace. I foolishly let the other half take charge of ordering dinner and he chose this "restaurant". Like many, we didn't read the reviews. Our meal took 45 minutes to arrive after leaving the restaurant and therefore was cold on delivery. I started to unpack to reheat and that's when the abomination became evident. Chicken balls were sitting in an inch of oil. Chips were literally wringing in grease. I popped it all on a baking tray and proceeded to pop them in the oven. Then out came the beef and black bean. Pretty sure the beef was cooked a week ago and the sauce was transparent. Tasted nothing like black bean, no flavour at all, just a clear rancid soup. Next chicken balls and chips out the oven. I poured about 150ml of oil off the tray. Chips were soaked in fat and inedible. Chicken balls clearly hadn't been cooked fresh today - the meat was dry and chewy despite the batter being sodden in fat. Then came the steamed buns. Floury dry mess. The person who cooked this meal needs to resign and change career. I am a white English man and can cook better chinese than these charlatans. Didn't even dare touch the rice. On the phone to EHO as we speak. This place is a hazard.
