Golden Kitchen in Harrow

I can honestly say we have eaten one of the best fish and chips in a long time. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean restaurant and WC area. The hot food was well worth the (short) wait while it was cooked to order. We enjoyed our cod, haddock and scampi with chips ;o) We will definitely be coming back again!

Avoid at all costs ordered a delivery and paid, they took the money, no fish and chips no communication, didnt answer phone, very disappointing, will be taking this further, absolutely disgusting service, never again

Highly recommend Golden Kitchen in North Harrow. Some of the best fish and chips I have had in a while. The fish I enjoyed for my dinner had the crispiest batter without being greasy, the fish inside was soft and buttery. The chips were cooked to perfection; crispy and crunchy but soft in the middle. The portions are also very generous with very reasonable prices. It's run by a fantastic family; the son Mustafa takes such pride in his products and customer service plus the best thing is that they cook their chips in a completely separate fryer from their fish/meat products. This is a winner for my husband and gets a massive thumbs up from him. Definitely worth checking out for a tasty treat.

Best fish I ever tried 😋. My 8th years old daughter enjoyed too. Compliments to the chef. Will definitely visit again soon. Highly recommended.

The Golden Kitchen only use fresh fish and it was disappointing that the only choice of fish on the day I visited was either haddock or cod.

Fresh fish cooked to order and very generous portions. Extremely attentive staff if you have food allergies or on special diet. Fish was grilled because of gluten intolerance but was informed by manager they have gluten free batter which is fab, so next time I'll order that. Highly recommend.

If you support this business I can reassure that you’re doing the best for our community. I’ve personally seen the guys who run this place give homeless people free food of charge. Even when i’m short they’ve never made an issue and never let me pay. I see them give kids free drinks all the time too. All locals and regulars know they guys are real kind hearted people. Just glad to be a regular and see genuine people run a successful business in North Harrow.

Fish is very good. Thin batter. Chips are soft, could do with more sustainable packaging. Overall good service and what you expect from a nice Gish and chips shop.

Went for a lunchtime special. Decent portion and good pricing. The waitress serving the section was friendly and brought a lot of character to the table.
