Kayra Restaurant in Harrow

I came here to eat with my friends and it was a very pleasant experience! A nice atmosphere to be in with your friends as you eat - the food was exquisite and I’ll definitely come again.

Glad to see such good Turkish restaurant in Acton. Just had my first meal here. reasonable price and good portions, and fresh. Front house staffs need more training. Keep up with the good work KAYRA. 👍

Excellent ServiceThis was my first time visiting Kayra, our server Dennis made this experience most enjoyable. Dennis was knowledgeable and extremely welcoming. I can recommend the sea bass. The food was great and Dennis is wonderful.

Food was alright....what we got anyway! We ordered our starters and mains with the same person. They came back after 20 minutes or so and said Lahmacun was unavailable...we responded that it was fine. However, when the main dishes arrived it was only the platter. We waited as the restaurant was clearly busy we thought it a small issue, the platter was almost half gone and the remaining dishes still nowhere to be seen. We asked our waiter and he clearly realised that he had made a mistake or kitchen had and said the remaining dishes would be brought out in next 5-10minutes (unacceptable but understandable). The remaining dishes started to arrive but in strangest order, we ordered king prawns served with mash potatoes and potato salad but only the prawns arrived... having waited again, we asked where rest of the dish was and remaining orders our waiter response was "it's being cooked... what's the problem"?! Could you imagine a waiter serving you fish and chips without the chips saying it's still cooking!!!! At this point we asked for the manager, his responded "I am the manager". With this the evening came to a crashing halt. What kind of place is this?! We were understanding and respectful but when we're treated like IDIOTS...a line must be drawn. I wish I had read the reviews before going here...The manager and owner at no point made any apologies rather kept making excuses justifying shoddy service. Having failed to resolve situation, we asked for the bill and surprise surprise...they were still charging for two items which never materialised. Please see pictures...as this place likes to blame it's customers rather than change their behavior.

Lovely cocktails and nice presentation. Overall good quality to spend some good time with family or friends. One of the waitress' was real pretty. Hopefully she noticed me :)

Their grills are fantastic, very friendly staff. I will go again..**Update visited again with my mother for mothers day, moved my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars, there is noticeable improvements, their iskender and grills are on point!

A nice place,with friendly stuff and good food..The meat was well prepeared and very tasty,humus and the other starters, as well...the only minus( that's why 4 stars) was the red cabbage from my salad had a bitter taste....maybe was an accident.Overall, a nice experience ...if I will be in the area I will go again.

The place has been refurbished completely and it looks much better.I came here with my family and we ordered various dishes including chicken, lamb and vegetables. Everything tasted delicious and was in large quantity.First time that I eat delicious vegetables on their own in London.Definitely a great place to come and we will be back.

It was my first visit ever, and i was Amazed by the food... Absolutely amazing and Authentic!The manager was really kind and let us taste the rice/couscous before we could order as were a bit confused about it.Great selection of wines and drinks. Recommended.
