The food is delicious and flavourful. Wide variety of items on the menu so suitable for veg and non veg. Nice atmosphere. Have been coming here for years and good as always

An excellent performance by Purple Flame tonight! We were served by Hemel and his recommendations did not disappoint. We asked for the best veg, chicken, lamb and fish starter and that is exactly what we got. Pictures attached. The lamb was really soft and packed great flavour. Following this we asked for the best chicken curry and was given a great portion. Naan was super soft and fluffy too which didn't make the curry loose flavour. Standards of food have heavily improved. Keep up the great work and I will be back really soon. The female waitresses where really attentive too.The best bit was when Hemel came over and said don't worry I will get you another round even when we didn't realise our drinks were running low. Which then the bartender was over looking and already started pouring. The drinks came within seconds! Hard to find a place with great food and great service!

Went Sat 19 Feb. Group of guys to watch the PPV Boxing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. Food was good (in particular - the lamb: Lamb chops & Seekh Kebabs). Chatpata wings were good too. Had Birra Moretti on tap, followed by drinking Whisky. Henal kaka is a friendly & helpful man. Owner came to speak to us too. Would go back again. RECOMMEND!

The food was superb, the lamb chops were a show stopper as was the lollipop chicken. Decent amount of spice and I loved the table sauces they provided. The service however was poor, it was slow, lazy and zero interest in providing a good experience to the customer. We had to wait 15minutes to get glasses to go along with the bottle of wine we ordered. I don't know if they do takeaway but if they do then I'd highly recommend because the food was brilliant, only the service let them down. If I could have it delivered to where I live it would be a regular.

Great service accompanied by great food and atmosphere. Bright and airy surrounding made it pleasant. My only complaint is that the lamb chops were filled with fat and were chewy.

Amazing service, atmosphere and food. So flavourful and moreish, take your pick of any dish you wont be dissapointed.Updated 27/12/2021 - this is still by far my favourite restaurant in the UK. Sublime. I can't express how nice the food is! I've been to most of the similar Indian owned restaurants in North London and Kingsbury, many which are really good, but this one tops them all. Shout goes to the head waiter, Henal, he is so good at his job and a genuinely nice guy!

Post "lockdown" it seems that a lot of the Indian bar/resteraunts in the NW London area have lost that edge on reopening especially when it comes to the food but have to say Purple Flame are still on point when it comes to good food & drinks, especially the beers are fresh and crisp and they have a great selection (thanks to Nikunj the bartender), and the service from the staff in general is very good. The venue itself has a very nice ambience and is a good place to catch up with a group of mates/family for a bite to eat.

On arrival, easy to be seated as we had a reservation however when they gave us the menus, one was covered in dried food and it took for another waitress to realise and swap the menu for for clean one.Vegetarian food was very tasty and flavourful, the best thing was the cheese and chilli bites..definitely would come back for those alone! The disappointment came with the mixed grill did NOT come on a hot plate but served on a plate and as there were only 3 of us..the food near the end was cold. The other let down was that the lamb chops were a little tough..huge in size but a little tough.Cost were a little higher than similar venues but would come again and try some other dishes.Venue was spacious and that made a difference where other venues try to pack in as many tables as possible so appreciated that in the current climate.

Hands down one of the best North Indian/Kenyan restaurants in NW London. Absolutely delicious food; we ordered a lot! They also catered for all our dietary requirements but the absolute stunner dishes were the Bana M’Kubwa mixed grill (seriously enough for 4 people and the sheekh kebabs on this were incredible), the Crispy Chicken Wings….so, so moreish! For vegetarians, the garlic chilli mogo is always a hit and this didn’t disappoint. The chilli cheese bites were something I hadn’t tried before but have become a new favourite. Their service was impeccable, especially from Ruhi and Henal and a great atmosphere, especially as the owners came over to each table to say hello. Definitely worth a visit:
