Sagar Vegetarian - Harrow in Harrow

I have tried so many Indian restaurants here in the UK over the span of 15 years but this restaurant in Harrow was the first time today for me. I ordered a Rajdhani Thali, Pav Bhaji, paysam and sheera. Hand upon heart I haven’t eaten such delicious food in any other restaurant around London. The flavours were mind blowing and every dish tasted different. The vegetables in the thali all had a different gravy base just like it’s supposed to be, the chappati was massive and so filling 👏🏼 I am extremely impressed by the taste, quality and quantity 💯 can’t recommend this place enough. You must try it out, last I ate food like this was in Mumbai. So very well done to the chef and kitchen staff for producing such excellent food. All the best and please expect more take always from me 😂🙌🏼

Great food, great service, and great value for money! Food was delicious, and have we have now become a regular, which luckily for us, is a local restaurant. The decor is warm and cosy - lovely place to relax with friends and family. Jagoo, who is usually the main waiter, is exceptional. Extremely attentive.

Very impressed by the service at Sagar today. My lunch was delicious and very reasonably priced. It arrived piping hot and 18 of us got individualised bills. Perfect venue for a big group. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I love this restaurant. I haven’t had such tasty and authentic South Indian food anywhere else in the UK. Mr. Jagadish is one of the best hosts ever, who is always smiling. Do visit if you’re missing the Bangalore style Dose and Idli-vade!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Sagar. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We visited on a Thursday and the restaurant was fairly quiet although they had quite a few takeaways.I had the pav bhaji, masala mogo, chilli paneer and all were super tasty! I’d recommend and would return here. I’d say the coke was a little flat. Otherwise our visit was very good!

Had a upidi thali and paper paneer dosai, coffee and mixed veg uthapam, eveything tasted just right like the ones back in Bangalore with the midly sweet sambar and the flavour and colour of byadgi 🌶 in the spices

Wanted to take my elderly Mum who lives in Pinner, for a meal during this Covid epidemic and keep everybody safe.Did not fancy going to Covent Garden - so this branch at North Harrow was best option.I am so glad to report - Sagar did not disappoint. Jagdish our head waiter, did not let us down with his recommendations off the menu. My mum had her thali but as I am impartial to Masala Dosa I was recommended the Mysore Masala Dosa. Just loved it. My mum enjoyed her thali too.Definitely recommend this place as they have suitable covid 19 defence in place. ps do have the piping hot masala chai too.

Me and hubby had date night here. Menu clearly labelled vegan food.We had the vegan thali, pani puri and idly - all delicious.The only thing we would change is to add a bit more chilli next time as it wasn't spicy.Can't wait to come back.
