"Fish Experts in cooked and fresh fish for over 50 years. Matzo and grill specialities. Serving our customers and our community with the finest fresh seafood. Award winning and family owned, we specialise in looking after our customers. We started selling fish and chips in London in 1969. we moved to Belgravia in 1979 where Mrs Christina and Mr George would serve film stars, royalty and tourists with the same level of graciousness and gratitude. In 1982 we arrived in Kenton and opened a fish shop because because my grandmother could not get good quality fresh fish to cook her famous fish kebabs. A shop was found and nearly 40 years later, we are still here, selling the best and looking after our customers."

Something has happened to this place. The chips used to be so nice and moreish, the best for miles. Now they're odd with a horrible hard crunch which is like old roast potatoes. The calamari is soggy and tasteless. It is packed in a silly container that doesn't allow it to sweat. They should use the style chinese restaurants use which keeps crispy items crisp. Ribs can be lovely and very well done but other times they are the fatty baby ones which I find awful. It's a shame as so many things I used to love now have me doutbing whether to order.

Worst worst savoly I've ever bought in my life, been trying to call the restaurant just now to tell them that this sausage taste like nothing absolutely nothing. No taste, no meaty taste no salt no nothing. Disgusting.

Bought a large portion of chips early this afternoon for a take away. I have been coming there for 20 years and never had anything bad to say as everything was made with care and so delicious. Today, never have I ever been served chips like this..My daughter gave birth yesterday and she really fancied some freshly made chips. These Chips were absolutely hard, so crispy as if cooked the day before and dark In colour. Chips were tasteless, not fresh at all and bits of potato were just added to our bag of chips, not sure what kind of oil was used.I paid £6.50 which is so overpriced, only to be severed this kind of poor quality food. Also staff are very rude and have no idea how to serve customers, so chaotic behind the counter. I believe Skip Jacks has changed hands with the owners and is run by different people. We dearly miss the old skip jacks owners, they were kind caring and generous with fresh yummy food.Extremely disappointing, won’t be visiting again.

In for lunch today with two friends. Had the halibut, which was a good size and well served (grilled). Very attentive service. Will be back!

Great quality fish and chips! Superb customer service, bit busy at times but that just shows how good the food is. Definitely recommend going to eat in or for a takeaway

For convenience I thought I would try this place but then remembered why I avoided it. They are unnecessarily pricey, their fish is small with batter that isn't crispy. The chips are average. Best stick to my usual Barracuda and Belmont Bay. They may be out of the way but well worth the effort.

Decent service, friendly staff making fresh fish and adding complementary chips for my takeaway. Personally I didn't quite enjoy the taste of the fish. It was definitely cooked well, and I added the large lemon they gave me for some extra zingy flavour. I've only had fish in the form of frozen fish fingers for most of my life so seeing loads of dead fish in my plate was a bit surprising. The taste, again, was good but didn't suit me. I only tried one kind of fish, though. I would probably return to try another kind on a good day. Recommended !

This is an absolute gem, a wonderful recommendation has brought me to this great Fish and Chips restaurant. The service is brilliant, and food is equally brilliant. Highly recommend Keo beer and black spiced haddock.
