The Case Is Altered in Harrow

Timeless iconic classic that seemingly everyone has enjoyed, over the years. Now, sadly, on the list for redevelopment into flats, I believe, this long serving bastion of the community is, outrageously, soon to be no longer with us.Who hasn’t parked up in Old Redding car park and had a drink in the beer garden on a hot summer’s day/eve? Whilst the views from the proposed flats will no doubt be spectacular, this fantastic piece of local history will be sorely missed.

Service was good, food was good atmosphere was good. The only issie is we had to end our evening early as the local council close the only place you can park which is a real shame. Do not understand why the local council would close a car park so early, makes no sense at all.

The Case is Altered is one of my favourite places to eat and enjoy with family and friends. It's a fantastic pub that offers excellent food and the ambience is superb in every detail, not just the physical building, which is very constable and inviting, but also it's surrounded by beautiful views and nature. If you love nature this place is perfect because, perhaps, after your meal you can hike in the Harrow Weald Common nature reserve, and enjoy and extraordinary trail in one of the most positive, good vibes, beautiful and energetic forest in Harrow and in London.I definitely recommend the Case is Altered to anyone looking for that special place where to relax, enjoy life, and excel your good feelings and emotions.

Not eaten at The Case under the current owners before but, I’ve just had the Best roast I’ve had in a pub for years! I usually avoid roast with chicken ‘breast’ worried it will be dry and go for lamb instead but I chose the cheaper option on this occasion, which turned up within ten minutes of ordering! The chicken was lovely and moist and actually tasted of chicken, the potatoes were crispy and seasoned perfectly, the veg was sweet, the girlies didn’t turn to dust when you cut them ans the gravy was gourmet level!This was a quality Sunday lunch and I’ll be back soon!!! They nailed it!

Absolutely amazing! Saying that this is one of the best pubs is an understatement! Everything here is perfect - the service, the food and the atmosphere. It had a beautiful beer garden, lovely outdoor seating and great views! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with an amazing, traditional cuisine. The members of staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this pub, it is a lovely place to go with friends (including your pooch) and enjoy great tasting food and just have a good time in general.

Come down on holiday to London and all I can say is stay away, Terrible drinks, over priced paid £5 for a pink gin which wasn't even pink gin it was gin! The staff was a foreign lady and she was as rude as it gets, she got Really horrible as we told her we don't like the taste of normal gin and argued about the fact it was pink gin, terrible customer service won't be returning. I have put a photo of a £5 pink gin

Lovely outdoor seating areas. Restrooms very clean. There’s even a playground outside for kids. Very welcoming!

Love this place! So happy to have found such a gem. We went for a Sunday roast and left absolutely satisfied. Great food, with good desserts for after, really friendly and attentive staff. Great drinks selection and a really scenic large outdoor area. We will definitely be back and we will be bringing people with us!

Excellent and fast service. Great location and set up out back, lots of wide umbrellas for the great British summer. Only issue is there are no heaters. Nice green spot out back with kids play area, very family friendly. Food was incredibly tasty, and the chef kept coming out to check everything was alright, which was a really nice touch and made us feel super welcome. They even gave the dog some ice cream for free!
