Proper old school boozer. Great atmosphere, great food (we had the homemade burgers which were amazing) and the cask ales were superb.

Lovely pub with great atmosphere. We have been there a couple of times for drinks and food. The pies are delicious and they have a good variety. I would recommend the veggie tajin with crunchy bread if you don't fancy meat, very healthy and filling! Service couldn't be better, really kind and attentive. We will keep coming back :)

Fabulous meal here this evening from the Specials Menu: both the pork belly and lamb shoulder were amazing and the service and atmosphere were great too! We'll be back!

Pete and his manager Frederic couldn't have done more for our party today. There were fifteen of us, including five children and having just attended a funeral we needed time to relax and chat over our lunch. We all had a wonderful time, the food was excellent as ever and nothing was too much trouble. It was just perfect, so thank you Frederic and Pete and all at The White Horse. You made our day.

We visited for a vegetarian Sunday roast 2 weeks ago. The service was great, super friendly staff. I think our waitress was called Anna, she was new. She was super friendly and accommodating. The vegetarian Sunday roast was delicious, big portions and served fresh and hot. We will try and visit again for pie night!

Really good food and atmosphere. Couple’s and families primarily filled the place when i went bit equally great from a group of friends to meet up and chat. Staff are friendly and i definitely recommend booking. When i arrived the place was full booked and we lucked out while waiting for friend to arrive.

I visit this place once every 1-2 months on average. It’s a classic British pub and for some reason decided to review it based on the experience I had today.The ambiance is good, you’ve the option of sitting outdoors in front, in the lawn at the back or indoors.Food is decent, nothing mind blowing but cannot complain either.I recommend that some music be played in the background- it changes the vibe completely for someone looking to have a laid back evening.Today’s service was great - all thanks to Ms Anna who was very sweet in her attitude and the way she spoke to me and my friend who had come to cool off after a busy shift as A&E doctors. I haven’t had such genuine warmth in service anywhere around London. Thanks Anna and good luck in all future endeavours.As a local, The White Horse will be a place I recommend and frequent.

Popped in for a drink on a Saturday lunchtime. Was quiet although a few people did pop in while we were there. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a good selection of drinks and the food we saw looked good. The pub benefits from lots of outdoor space both at the front and back. definitely worth a visit if in the area

Wow the pies are amazing!!! I loved loved loved the chicken and leek pie. The pastry was perfect. The amount of gravy was just enough and the filling was excellent. It's a great pub with a decent selection of beer. The pub is very clean and staff is very friendly. There's parking in the back and seating outside as well. If you're craving a pie come here! You won't be disappointed.
