Bekash Tandoori in Havering

Really good restaurant 5 minutes from Romford station. Good service, friendly staff, good choice of alcoholic drinks (which seems to be getting rarer in our area). Well worth a visit and we will definitely come here again.

If anyone isExpecting the food is spicy and you can feel taste in that no ur wrong , it’s fresh and not stale but tasteless food , It’s good for people who doesn’t like spice and is not proper south Asian taste , manager was polite and humble , waiters were too good stafff was friendly and supportiveAnd no baby chair available so that’s a hassle as well

Superb Indian - best in RomfordThe Bekash isn’t my closest Indian restaurant but it’s the one I go back to again and again because of the outstanding service, wonderful hosting by Sully and crew and the amazing food. I’ve been going to the Bekash for years now and I never hesitate to recommend to friends looking for a brilliant local Indian. Went tonight with family and they loved the new decor as well as the new Covid measures such as wipe down seats which made it all feel super safe. As always, we had an amazing night at the Bekash and look forward to many more!

Disappointed the set menu wasn't available and they forgot to apply a 10% discount that they promised when I booked a table by phone so had to ask for it after giving us the first bill. However, after excluding drinks, cost was only £17 each for 4 of us which included starters, poppadoms, pickles, and a main course, rice and naan bread each so was brilliant value for money to eat in!

Food was okay, not bad. My only gripe was having ordered a portion of Peshwari naan bread the naan wasn’t cooked through properly and the inside of the naan was very doughy. It wasn’t suitable to be consumed.

The staff are brilliant here! The portion sizes are good and the food is presented really well! I'd say they may need some new furniture as the chair material was really old and damaged and that was for most of the chairs. Otherwise was a nice experience
