Fantastic service, good food and a very nice decor

A gem of a restaurant just outside Romford's inner ring road, so not an obvious destination. It is well frequented by locals who appreciate the great food and wonderful service. The only criticism is that the portions are rather large and toilets are upstairs. I didn't notice any disabled facilities.

Our first visit and was well worth it. Excellent size portions, served hot and fresh. Staff were very attentive and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. They obviously have a lot of regular customers as for a Thursday evening it was very busy. Cannot wait to go back.

As always good food and great service,lovely family run restaurant.Ray and his sons never seem to forget a face and always have time for a chat which somehow never interferes with the great food coming out of the kitchen.Would recommend this restaurant any day of the week.

Apparently been here since 1963 but this was my first visit. Really good food, 5 of us went and we shared everything, all very good. Decent sized portions and we agreed we could have ordered 4 mains between us. Don't think there's any parking but near to bus stop and local car parks. I'll definitely be coming back. NB fairly busy do I'd recommend booking.
