Cafe Chateau in Havering

This a lovely little place, really nice cafe, went there with my friend on her break and joined her for lunch. The food was a good price, it was nice and the staff was really lovely too. Got a cheeky hot chocolate as well.

A very good selection of food, from snacks to meals. The service is good too. Would recommend.

Very clean. Tables are spaced out. There's also upstairs seating and outside seating. Second time being here, had the same English Breakfast and a cappuccino. Good portion size for the price as well.

I ordered my food at 14:22 with uber eats, and what was meant to be an 18 minute wait,turned into 40 mins. I spoke with the owner of the cafe explaining my frustration, as I am 5 months pregnant and extremely hungry at work. My food came and it was so cold, and i asked the owner if I could make the trip to the cafe, with the order, for another one to be made? And he...so billegerent told me NO and that I should pay again if I want another meal. DISGRACEFUL! I wont recommend

Went here for lunch todayFood was ok but staff were rude and cold and arrogant. Very dismissive when my daughter asked to do 2 separate orders and when asking for chicken nuggets without chips for the children the staff made up a price at the top of his head in front of us.We weren't allowed to touch the ketchup or sauces but apparently corona does not go near vinegar as we were allowed to touch that. I also had the menu snatched out of my hands and asked to take a picture of it.

Really like this place. No fuss. Good service and food. Prefer seating upstairs so it's easy to forget where you are while eating lunch. Favourite is cheese and mushroom omelette. Good size portions.

Staff are friendly, food is delicious and freshly cooked. Cafe is very clean. As well as the seating downstairs there is more upstairs and outside seating is available if you fancy it.

Amazing food and amazing service as well. Been coming here for over 5 years and never once let me down. Thank you for 5 star service
