Cafe Royale in Havering

As most cafes around town the sausage you use is of really low quality, there's many local butchers i would like to suggest going to see them see what deals you can get on some proper sausages, them frozen things you deep fry are very bad apart form that nice clean cafe.

Just had an order for breakfast for my wife, daughter and myself cost over £26 pounds through Deliveroo and it was horrible, the sausages tasted like saveloy and the tea and Cappuccino where horrible. Waste of money.

Great to have a friendly cafe in Gidea Park. Big menu and a place to fill up during a busy day.

Great selection of food, lovely staff and reasonable with nice seating and decor. Nice seating outside too when the weather is good

Been coming to Cafe Royale for a while but since the newer waitresses started the customer service has been absolutely appauling. The two waitresses with blonde hair are rude and extremely unfriendly. They literally toss the menu's on table...no friendly welcome or a good morning. They have miserable faces on them like they don't enjoy their job. It's a shame because i've been coming here for many years and enjoy the breakfast but the customer service needs to be improved massively. Hope the manager of this place has discussions with the two that serve the food.

I almost never write restaurant reviews, but we meet a waitress there who hadvto be recognized publicly. Ellie ( Eli) was she s name and she was phenomenal. She was prompt, smart, caring , and knowledgable about the food. And she just had this friendly demeanor abot her that made us all HAPPY. But end of our luch four of us said , “She (Ellie) The best waitress we’ve ever had in UK ❤️By the way , the food is quite good and menu is varied i recommend definitely recommend 👏🏻

went this morning to this place for breakfast, but unfortunately, I didn't get none.I've never seen such poor service at this volume .Sat at the table, the lady came over and slapped 3 meuns on a bread crumbed table.she then said she would be over to clean the table.I was thinking at this point wouldn't have been better to clean table 1st or even hand meuns to us.came over with cloth and swiped all crumbs over my partner.I ordered 3 meals but got 2 when I asked where mine was. she told me I only ordered 2I told her no I ordered omelette chips and 2x same breakfast she argued with me and told me it would take 5mins she told me her English not good but then tried to tell me I said she can't speak English I simply said 2 breakfast in English means 2xI was so angry I cancelled my breakfast.went to pay, and I explained I wasn't happy with the service and wouldn't come back.Women was so rude that she started shouting, lying acting like an ally cat. she was taken out to the back.the manager told me she has been working at this place for over 10 years and not had a problem I find that very hard to belive told me what makes me so special I couldn't belive what I was hearing.safe to say I wouldn't go back or recommend this place

Lovely cozy cafe with a great menu and even better prices. Perfect for a snack or a big meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff are really attentive and friendly. Can dine in or take away depending on your fancy

Food was great place clean and friendly staff. Would give 5 stars if they used a good quality sausage.
