Fantastic service, with friendly staff and made me feel welcomed once We walked through the doors,Been here before noticed a huge difference in food and service. Food was mind blowing especially you all have to try the butter chicken. Music and atmosphere was brilliant. I asked wow what's happened here to a waitress and she said it's been taken over by new management. All I'm saying is guys huge difference in quality of food and service. Keep up the good work. Will be back again

Get. Some. More. Staff.Food is excellent. The staff they have are courteous and attentive. The restaurant has a nice vibe and a cool decore. The DJ was playing some good beats....ButWe arrived just after 8 and despite our order being taken around 8.15 we hadn't had our mains by 10.20. We got it to go and left. The upside is that we're now eating our main course in pyjamas at home on the couch! So close to being a cracking restaurant. Just need to get some more staff and serve the customers quicker! To be fair, the staff were really apologetic when they realised the delay.

Excellent Experience! This is exactly what one would ask for when visiting an Indian restaurant! It was my first visit to Caraway Lounge in Romford, I went with my family to celebrate a special occasion and the staff here went above and beyond my expectations. They have a great menu with plenty of vegetarian & vegan options, great service and very attentive, they also had a DJ playing excellent songs throughout the night. What is not to like? All the dishes we ordered were tasty and the decor was very classy. Keep up the good work!!! We will definitely be visiting again.

May be the service needs to be evaluated by management. Delay in welcoming customers. Papadums promised at the start then we had to ask and it came with starters. Overall nice individuals and managers on the floor but I must say could be better coordinated and services could be much faster. Another thing, tables were sticky. Does not give very good impression when you try to lean your elbows. Quality of food good.

Visited caraway lounge last week with some friends. Food was above average. Service was ok, the staff could be more friendly, polite and smiley. They had a dj that evening and assume a number of birthdays and Christmas parties going on. The decor is a little run down as is the furniture. We ordered our starters, I had ordered the most expensive fish wrapped in banana leaf on the menu, and a little while later the waiter advised that they had run out of the fish and so I cancelled as I did not fancy the other options. Shortly after we were served our starters, and shockingly they served me with fish wrapped in banana leaf so I queried the waiter, he said who told you we had run out, I explained the waiter who took the order and surely someone advised him when he went to notify the kitchen. So he said well we have it and you can have it or cancel it. I did not think too much into it and I don't like to waste food so I said I would eat it.It was all going well, we had our starters, mains and untill the table of girls sitting on the table next to us recieved their desserts. There was a dirty tissue with their plate of gulab jamun and ice cream one of the waiters said he could not serve that plate and they debated for a few seconds when the other tall skinny waiter took the tissue off from the dish/ice cream and said to serve the dish.Only myself and one of my friends witnessed this occurring and we notified the manager, who apologised and said the incident should not have happened and he would have words with the waiter. Then the thought of the fish came to my head and I queried that with the manager, his response was that because he knew on of my friends, he dug deep into the freezer to find the fish. I was shocked after this response and lost confidence in the manager. So as a regular customer, the staff will either tell you when they cannot be bothered to find produce that they are out of stock or they will lie and serve you another product that will taste similar yet you pay the higher price.I don't think I will be visiting anytime soon and wish the restaurant all the best with their policies and their business.

The food is good and the service is ok. They also show the sports so it's a nice place just to hang out and watch football.

Food was absolutely lovely, and they have great big booths to sit in which I find are very sociable in a big group. My only criticism was that we waited an hour and a half between courses and no one ever came to let us know there would be an extended wait for food. I don't mind waiting and having a few drinks, but I would like to be kept informed as I consider this to be polite. It's all about the communication, and if management are reading this it would be good to get your tablet staff to just let people know if it's likely to take a while to get food.As I said, minor criticism and the food is truly delicious!

Food was very nice and like the fusion aspect. Totally different from the Gant hill restaurant. Service was ok as well

Friendly staff with a great interior design look. Food is pretty good and has a bit of a kick. Starters and mains were decent and a fairly wide selection at the bar. They were showing a World Cup match without sound on two large screens which was the reason we chose this place. We will be back.
