Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant in Havering

The best Chinese takeaway around. After many years of trying different places, we've finally found the one that serves the best food, oh and the best salt and pepper chicken and crispy pancake rolls. Highly recommended

Ordered from the first time from Chopsticks via Just Eat. Initial issue as I selected 20:15 and delivery man turned up an hour early as I was leaving my house. No problem, I called restaurant, they were really accommodating at sending driver back and a fresh order came at the time requested. Food was delicious, and we'll be ordering again.

Waited 1 hour 40 mins for a delivery. When I called to find out why, they didn’t seem to care and offered no apology. Food was average. They use a lot of salt to increase flavour instead of using the ingredients themselves to bring out the flavour. Not the sign of a good restaurant. Much better and cheaper restaurants in the area, and that deliver much quicker too. First and last time!

We love to go out. Last night we visited this fine place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a delightful experience there with first-rate cooking and a courteous team and a professional chief cook. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall definitely visit again very soon. We warmly recommend.

This is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had in the UK.The butterfly king prawns are amazing (You must try these) and the quarter duck is a good portion. Food is always piping hot and you can tell it’s fresh/good ingredients. I would recommend collecting just to make sure you get it on time and just as it’s been cooked.When I am not in town no Chinese has matched this.Well done Chopsticks !

No complaints about the food. However, ordered a delivery via Just Eat and received it 1 hour and 40 minutes (and a phone call to Chopsticks) later. This is not a good service.

After almost a 2 hour wait, 12 calls that went unanswered and contacting just eat directly to chase, we final recieved our poor attempt at stone cold Chinese food from a restaurant that is 4 minutes away. If you cannot manage your orders do not take anymore, it isn't hard. Do not recommend.

Visited on a Thursday night and there was only one other table occupied so there wasn't much of an atmosphere but the food was good, varied menu with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN.Ordered takeaway from here twice for myself and a vegetarian friend. First time we ordered veg chow mien and it came with chunks of chicken in it. Second time we ordered Mock Duck (and even got the lady on the phone to confirm it was MOCK duck, as per the menu) and duck turns up. This place has resulted in my vegetarian friend eating meat TWICE. Avoid.

Very poor service!! I phoned up whilst me and my boyfriend was in Bluewater to check what time they closed (to eat in) and was told 10:30pm We rushed back to Hornchurch and got through the doors for 10pm only to be told by a pushy rude waiter that it's too late to order anything now. Surely if you are going to tell me a closing time you should stick to the closing time. If the kitchen closes at 10pm tell the customers that you close at 10pm not 10:30pm. I won't be returning and have been a loyal take out customer for the past five years, and anyway after seeing the inside of the restaurant i would recommend you only order take out anyway it needs a refurb.
