Crispy Cod in Havering

Food is always hot and freshly served! Never been a time where I haven’t loved having crispy cod!

Do not recommend this shopYesterday bought 2 cod roe and 2 sausages in batter with chips got home the sausages had no batter on them and the roe was awful the batter was non existent and all soggy phoned them up they were very rude and hung up so went round today showed pictures Ihad taken and again rude and not caring offered me 2 sausageswhat a cheekNE VER GOING THERE AGAINWOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Passing through the area today and was hungry and spotted Crispy Cod. Had the 'special' boxed fish and chips. And it was disgusting. Greasy slimy fish and way undercooked chips. 2 mouthfuls and it al went into the bin. Nasty.

Quite disappointed as this place came recommended from friends. Chips were plentiful and adequate. Nothing special. Fish had not been properly drained which made it very greasy. Sadly the fish had a smell which meant that it wasn't fresh. Not overpowering, but just enough to spoil the enjoyment. It was also quite small for the price.

A great family run fish n’ chips shop; our favourite in the local area that is consistently good. Always fresh and been run by the same family since it opened about ten years ago, or so.They are not the cheapest, but are one of the top three in the local area, along with Barracudas and Fishy Business in Upminster.It is best to pre-order, especially on Friday so you do not have to wait for them to cook your fish fresh, and they do accept payment by cards now (08/2020).

Overcharged. £6.50 for chips sausage and curry despite it saying £3.50 for chips and sausage on the board. I questioned it and he said that's lunchtime. I said its 12.10 he said sorry that's kids. It doesn't say kids it says lunchtime special. Clearly makes it up as he goes along

Please do not order from here!Disgusting attitude!Ordered 4 meals.. and only got 3.. contacted the store and the abuse and Disgusting attitude from who ever answer the phone! Pictures to prove not had the meal!Will never EVER order here again

Fantastic fish and chips. Best anywhere around. Ask for skinless if you prefer. High quality cod and lovely crispy batter. Very friendly people.
