Gah Shing in Havering

If you want food poisoning and don't value your life then go ahead and eat only once from this place. This is the worst chinese ive had all my life and thats just the food and not even talking about the two arrogant rude staff at the front desk. The boss of this place is a WASTEMAN im sure if you have an encounter with him youll understand what i mean. ABOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!

Quite possibly the worst Chinese I have ever had, the beef with black bean consisted of some anemic beef and loads of bamboo shoots, with no flavour, the portion of ribs had nine small pieces in it, amounting to roughly two ribs, with some kind of coating on them, they were s'posed to be salt and chilli but we're nothing like it, I advise everyone to eat elsewhere, £28.50 for basically two chow meins, the black bean and ribs, stay away, disgusting.

Firstly, the order said it would take over an hour and came within 20 minutes - reading this post you will probably understand why.Dishes were less than half full, we think our order may have been split with someone else's as they were busy - not the sort of thing you should be doing as a business! The sweet and sour chicken cantonese style looked more like watery chicken from a can - I didn't even give it to my dog. I'd say uncle bens rice was an upgrade to the stodgy egg fried rice.This Chinese was more expensive than our normal one and I couldn't tell you why as the whole meal was absolutely awful. If anyone uses this as their regular Chinese, then you really need to get out more.

If you are looking for a decent Chinese takeaway then this is not the place! Please do not waste money ordering from here. My food was supposed to be delivered at 6.45pm, it was past 7pm and it was not delivered yet. Tried contacting the restaurant but it kept saying user was busy. I wasn’t being impatient but i just wanted to make sure that my food was still being delivered. After informing on Just eat app, only then did i get an update saying the food would be delivered at 7.45pm. The food was delivered at 7.18pm, it was awful. The sambal chicken wings were very stale and very very oily (the oil was floating in the container), the curry pork was bland, and my prawn balls (contained one chicken ball). What a waste of money. Never ever ordering food from this place.

The worst food ever delivered in my life.The chips were raw inside. The onion ring in a pool of oil. The rice stuck together old and stodgy. The s+a sauce was light pink not red watery and zero taste. The curry sauce was like water. Disgusting. I’ll be reporting to trading standards. £21 order straight in the bin.

Part of my order wasn't delivered, the sauces and duck to the crispy duck roll was forgotten. When i contacted them about it they were rude and dismissive saying "we´re doing you a favour".Overall the food was disgusting and tasteless. i advise anyone who is thinking about ordering from here to think twice and read the reviews. Placing an order with this restaurant is like taking a gamble at the quality and quantity of your food.I wouldn't advise it at-all.Total waste of money!!!

The lunch box is quite nice, looks small but very filling. Would recommend if to are looking for a small sample of everything. Good for the price.
