Good Intent in Havering

Always come here for lunch, probably once a week or every other. Staff are friendly. The atmosphere is nice. Food always comes out hot and it's great value for money! Lovely family pub when the footie isn't on as it can get abit loud in there. Love coming here and that it's local!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was really lovely. Big portions. Enjoyed our first meal out since lockdown and great we chose this place. Will definitely go back.

How good is this place? This pub has a modern look with loads of space and at least 3 tvs that I found so great for the sport! A good selection of beers including a range of greene King real ales. The food is superb, traditional pub grub but very well done and very large portions at very competitive prices compared to say beefeater or harvester, also the staff were all very friendly and helpful, well worth a visit.

My family & I spent Xmas Day here. From making the booking With Shell, she was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and to where we wanted to sit. When we got to the pub, Shell seated us at our table. Our pre-ordered drinks were already waiting for us. We could tell they were short of staff, but this didn’t effect the service we received as we wasn’t in no rush to get home. Shell, Vicky, Tia & Vicky’s Son Mason, we’re brilliant. We couldn’t fault the food, it came out piping hot, so well done to the Kitchen. Our overall experience was fab!!! Well done to all those who worked that day. We had a great time, and we will definitely be booking again for this Christmas

Nice medium sized pub, good menu, good food. Polite staff.

We were a table of 10, so I appreciate the logistics involved, the meals started to arrive around 30-35 minutes later and 8 were served within 3 or 4 minutes the last 2 took around a further 5-6 minutesThe skewered chicken was a mix of warm and room temp, my family all suggested getting it sorted, but I was hungry and I thought better of it as everyone else seemed happy with their meals, the evening went well the servers and bar staff were all pleasant the place was of a reasonable standard. Later my Son said some of his meal was over cooked as was a few others who had the chichen wings.Summing up the "Good Intent" is a pleasant venue with friendly courteous staff, the menu is wide and reasonably priced the service is acceptable but the food is a little disappointing.However I have had a lot worse!

Went to the good intent for some works drinks last week for the end of a very rubbish year. It was just what we needed! Pleasant staff and brilliant atmosphere. A few of the group ate and said it was lovely! Can’t wait to return

Nice pub with decent pub food. Staff are friendly. Sadly, they only serve GK IPA and Abbott, which as it's a Greene King pub is hardly surprising. There are quiet areas and areas to watch the sport on TV. All age groups represented.

Outstanding pub outstanding staffThis is our local and has to be one of the best pubs in Essex! A great friendly family atmosphere and the staff are always fun and helpful! The new menu is brilliant and wait times for food are low!!I would highly recommend this pub to people! The management do a great job at keeping it family oriented by stopping riff raf from using it! Definitely a 10/10
