So far a nice pub with a young happy vibe! Clean/Busy with up-tempo music in the background as you would expect to keep the younger drinkers happy! I find myself staying longer than expected but happy to do so; the staff are quick to serve and keep themselves busy with a great demeanour about them, drinks are at a very reasonable price and spear to be kept well too which is nice to see.it’s quite a large pub with a decent outside area which I’ve not physically looked at but can see, quite a few areas where you can find a corner with your friends and do your own thing if that’s what your after! All in all I’d come here again :)Managerontour 😁

Great local watering hole for a televised game or a Friday night drink. Food is nothing special but the drinks are good and the staff are lovely. Women's toilet is upstairs which is a pain but the patio is fantastic.

Went for lunch on Sunday and to watch Rugby. Food was good and only waited maybe 10 minutes...I am diabetic and the staff came to tell me when my food was 5 mins from arrival ,without me asking, which I felt was lovely of them. Had such a nice atmosphere that before we knew it was 8pm.The staff are friendly, helpful and the 'bouncers' were lovely.Good Sports coverage as they were showing 2 football matches and the Rugby... ..definitely recommend!!!!

Had the pleasure of being in your establishment and was helped by a very pleasant young man by the name of Jamie. He made our visit very fun. He was helpful and was fun to interact with and after meeting him and his welcoming demeanor we will be returning. Thank you

We had a lovely meal at the Goose! Food was to our expectations, service was great, our bartender Jamie, made me laugh with his humour, and was very pleasant and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Daz

Friendly staff, lots of options for larger and a huge food menu to pick from. Went on Wednesday & the quiz was 10/10. Bar service was excellent and the staff were very happy to answer any questions about products 👍

I used to frequent this pub when I was younger and it was always a bit of a dive, however they have really rejuvenated it in the last couple of years with nice heated beach huts in the beer garden and toilets that are clean and well maintained. Overall a good place to go to grab a pint.

Great place for a cheap lunch/dinner. Ideal to watch the football with loads of screens

I am very appalled with the customer service me and my Good friend have received. We live in the local area and have always enjoyed the goose but tonight will mark the 5th time we have been denied access to the venue but your staff. We haven’t been let in for 5 consecutive times now and like I said for two people who just want to enjoy a night out in their local area and find it absolutely impossible to do so, is so shocking to the both of us as we have had no issues prior. We won’t be returning to this venue as not only does it feel like discrimination against the public but I personally feel isn’t being very equal. This place needs new bouncers, and a training programme to be put in place for the staff to act appropriately and use customer service as due to this rudeness we also will not be returning despite being told numerous times beforehand that we couldn’t get entry.

Great place to socialise and have pre-drinks, the pub often has music and has an enormous outdoor area to smoke with some huts (that you can't smoke in) but do have heaters inside them. Bouncers seem quite nice so long as you don't seem too drunk and have ID on you, which is fair enough, although the pub can get quite busy on a weekend or Friday so it's best to get there a little early. Bar staff seem lovely, often seem like interesting characters as well and (although I don't use it frequently) the pub does have an app you can use to order drinks which is quite handy. It's next to Romford Station which is an added bonus and a few minutes from a few clubs (Attic and Yatess) come to mind.
