The coffee was cold and I have never tasted such a bad cappuccino. The staff have obviously not been trained to a very good standard.

Convenient but not exciting.Friendly staff, coffee ok, hot choc somewhat dull. Pastries look and taste tired.

The team here work really hard, friendly and polite, amazing coffee and great sweet selection and sandwiches are great too.

Disgusting, refused to serve me because my bank card isnt a chip and pin, I had cash on me but it was refused outright and my late was thrown down the sink!I asked why they arent accepting cash, and was told 'I dont know, our till doesn't even take cash 'I will never go in there again, disgusting

The coffee here is good but the place is never clean, I usually have to clear my own table and clean it. The staff are nice but there is not enough of them, that's why the tables are rarely cleared. Recently they have started leaving the food on display so it can be self served in front of the queue, ths puts me off as there is obvious hygiene issues with this! It is expensive too and the drinks are small. The place looks nice though and has a nice atmosphere.

Visited this morning when the place had just opened. Felt I caught staff off guard - appeared to be dealing with a delivery ahead of customers. All the food on display looks delicious. Nice range of comfy seating.Asked for an americano offered and accepted a filter coffee instead for £2.80.Slightly-too-upbeat music on slightly-too-loud for first thing in the morning.Still may return as it's conveniently located.

As we entered it was a struggle to find a table that was genuinely clean or even cleared in most cases, the service was ok but would say it's not suitable for kid's.We was told to stop using straw's as we had a milkshake and being paper straws they kept on disolving(I found this pretty tight after I just spent £20 on food & drinks) either get rid of paper straws or allow a customer to enjoy what they just purchased with multiple paper straws. The young lady making the drinks was friendly and clearly understands how customer service works, shame not all do.

Great quality food and coffee which is no more expensive than Costa. Service is friendly and helpful. I definitely prefer the coffee here (got a flat white most recently) to any other coffee shop I know. Alternative options are also available e.g soy milk, but at a cost.Only improvement is the floor could be swept more but would still thoroughly recommend.

I have been here before and paid, with the help from a loan from my bank, for a soya latte. They are a bit Jurassic by still charging for soya milk in their drinks. Most of the other big chains will use soya milk for free, in all their drinks. Not Harris and Hoole, no sir, they will stick to their guns and charge that extra for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan. I went in and knew I would be ripped if I ordered the coffee, so I ordered a tea with soya milk, and they wanted £2:30 as they added an extra 20p on for a morsel of soya milk. So if you ask for a large latte which is all soya milk it is still 20p extra. Come on guys you can see this is a rip off and just unacceptable. So I had to order a peppermint tea, not bad for £2:10 considering they pick up a tea bag and tip hot water over it.It is an expensive shop, more so in the Romford branch. Costa and Starbucks are better value which is saying something. However I will now be going to Patisserie Valerie where the service is a whole lot better, the prices are cheaper, the environment is cleaner and you are waited on.If you are paying these prices you should expect a service. So go where they pride themselves on service to the customer and not just the financial gain.

Amazing coffee. Great app rewards loyalty by checking in and getting a free drink every 6 purchases. Coffee's are crafted with milk art and all taste great. Good selection of toasties and cakes. I always opt for the chicken and bacon toastie or the cheesy cheese toastie - you can't believe just how much cheese it contains! Staff are a young crowd, but friendly.
