First time we've been there, the food is lovely, staff are really friendly, it was a nice place to have a meal..

This restaurant has very good food, good service and reasonable prices. Parking is a short walk if not available on site. Well worth trying.

Was really disappointed with Indian oceans food that was catered for a family wedding recently. The food was ok, but the finni was a big let down. It was watery and tasteless.

Great 1st order 2nd order took 2 hours to get food sat outside waiting for over 45 min. Food awesome, time of deliver/pickup awefull

Ordered the food at 5.30pm. Delivery estimate of 6.36pm. 7pm food still had nit strived we had to call restaurant. Restaurant sounded unbothered. Claimed covid causing delays, we could tell he was lying and that has become the easy get out excuse. Anyway 7.30pm the food had still not arrived. The food finally arrived at 7.45pm. The restaurant was not really apologetic, custimer service really really poor, the food was COLD. The food tasted nice once MICROWAVED, but I would not suggest giving a business who cares little on customer service and just happy to take money from people who pay online. If I had not paid ,I guarantee that good would have arrived early and hot.we will never use again. Disgraceful service.

I asked for a chicken tikka biryani. The man on the phone repeated "chicken tikka biryani". After waiting 2 hours for my order and having parted with over £30, I discovered that the biryani had plain chicken, not tikka chicken. The meat in all the dishes was shockingly dry and as hard as a rock. A complete insult to me and the famous biryani and other dishes of South Asia. So what exactly are the inflated prices for? Perhaps if they sourced some chefs with real talent and dedication to creating authentic dishes and for good measure, staff who are able to take orders accurately, then maybe the Indian Ocean might retain some customers. Raise your game guys. I'm Bangladeshi just like you and we both know our mothers would be slightly less than impressed by your performance (to put it as lightly as possible).

I so want to give this place 5 stars, but having had 2 home deliveries arriving over 30 minutes later than promised and a naan missing from the order, just wanted to let others know. Reasonably priced and very tasty.Ate in the restaurant 3 weeks ago with 'the girls' and the food was even better with fresh crisp garnishes and plenty of time to enjoy as the food is not relentlessly rolled out before you've digested the previous course. Service is attentive but subtle.

Great night out with lads for a end of season awards. Lovely food and accommodating staff 👏🤝

I was only collecting takeaway so can only comment on that process. I ordered over the internet and was given a time when the food was ready to collect. I arrived a little earlier than the time given, but only needed to wait a short while, the food being ready bang on time. The staff were very welcoming as is the restaurant. The food itself was excellent, generous portions, well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Overall a very good experience wevwill be repeating.

Ordered the tandoori chicken for takeaway this evening but wished I hadn't. It tasted like it had been cooked days ago, dry and hard, not what I was expecting at all. As a regular customer I feel very dissapointed and hungry.
