Mangal Meze in Havering

Had a late lunch on Saturday. The restaurant was clean. The entrance is wheelchair friendly so there shouldn't be any accessibility issues. Service was good. There was an older gentleman who made sure our plates were cleared on time and we had everything we needed. The lighting was good. The food was made to a high standard. Everything was fresh and tasty 😋!I would have preferred there to be a hand (finger) washing bowl of water as standard to clean your hands. I know most people will say wash your hands in the loo... duh. My problem with that is you can't leave the loo without touching the door handle or indeed the tap itself. Just a suggestion for future hygiene. That said, we did ask for a bowl of water and the staff were happy to oblige.

Food was good but the items ordered didn’t come together. The food took more than 45 mins to arrive and when asked the manager why it’s taking too long he said they have less chefs in the kitchen. They were doing online orders and restaurant orders which was effecting the customers who was eating in, maybe that’s something they need to improve on. I was impressed with the interior, a clean restaurant and Customer service was good too.

Į went there for my birthday with my friends and it was one of the best birthdays I’ve had in a while. They made me feel so special and I had the best time! The food was amazing and there was so much off it for a very good price. Definitely recommend this place ! Also Alex and Osman was both wonderful and looked after us very well.

Good l place for small gathering or celebrating any occasion. Food was delicious. Very generous portions combine with well seasoned salad on plate made whole meal really enjoyable. Let's not forget about Cobra beer helping digest all food😜. Whole atmosphere in the restaurant is really welcoming and friendly. Nice modern decor and very comfortable seats make you so relax. Thank you. Will be back soon to try other bits on your menu.

A great place to bring your family and friends. Great staff all are very polite and helpful. It's always busy but the standard of food is totally amazing. We orderd chicken sheesh with rice and salmon stake with chips which was cooked perfect. Will highly recommend this place.

Didn't plan on coming here initially it was more a last minute thing but I'm so happy we did. The food was perfect. Such a big portion, lovely salad and so colourful. I ordered the mixed doner I believe and the rose wine which was beautiful and sweet. We sat outside and we were seen too very quickly. Definitely recommend.

Good food and atmosphere however Some staff just ignored requests several times. We had to ask for a glass of water and the staff would say ok then just walk off and carry on with what they were doing. We paid service charge as we didn't want to be unfair to the rest. Wasn't bothered in pulling up the ones who did ignore us. They should count their lucky stars as I am normally very allergic to attitude. Not sure if this place would be on my top list anymore. Thus giving 4 stars

Food is on par with the best Turkish restaurants out there! I would suggest less vinegar/lemon juice on the salad though; found it was quite bitter. But otherwise the food is really really good.Meal for 2 will set you back £30-£40. The inside is a bit small so can get crowded. Staff are friendly if a bit overwhelmed at times 🙂Short walk for the Liberty shopping mall, where parking is cheap (£1.50 for 2 hours).

Great food and the portions are very good size. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared. It can be very busy inside, should eat outside enjoy the food there.

Unbelievable service and a stunning place!Manager masood was very kind, we walked in without a reservation and he was so considerate and got us a table literally with in 2 mins of walking in!The server Alex was undeniably top class with service at the table, we had mentioned we needed to be out in a hour and asked for recommendations on the menu, he advised house specials take longer but all of our food was out in less than 20mins! It was outstanding! Food was delicious and the service was impeccable, the manager had mentioned they were short but him and alex had everything under control! They knew what they were doing and maintained high level of standards amongst other tables!The food, decor, service and atmosphere was excellent 👌 👍Will definitely be coming back and bringing others too!
