Nishan Tandoori in Havering

I've picked up a takeaway from here 3 times and the food is fantastic. The saag also is beautiful.

Just order tandoori naan, and they came freshly made and perfect

Am giving 3 stars only because although the food was delicious, piping hot and lots of it, the wait was very long to be delivered (1 1/2 hours). I understand that it must be extremely difficult to prepare loads of fresh food at the same time when you've got masses of orders, but I was getting tetchy by the end. Hence the b*llocking I gave over the phone, and for which I sincerely apologise! Must say the restaurant was very contrite, and as I say, the food was delicious. I had the chicken dansak and coconut rice, the rest of the order included prawn biriyani, naan bread, chicken tikka if I remember correctly, and other things. Daal and saag aloo and chutneys and poppadoms came free with the order. Great food.

I ordered pasnada and biryani. I really disappointed they put green peas in biryani and the rice taste wasn’t biryani taste. And pasanda was so sweet like u eating sugar with naan I don’t know how they get recipes for making that food .I just waste my money . Won’t recommend anyone....

Food is good, when it arrives. However food was over half hour late and waited over two hours for it to be delivered. Appreciate they are busy - but not worth the wait.

The food in the nishan was very good!,the only negative was the drab look of the place! Looks dirty an old curtain that opens into the kitchen looks horrid!,they should give the appearance of the place a complete makover

Ok ok !!!I’ve given them 4 stars as I’m hard to please-There’s always room for improvement 😏If they impress me again il bang another star on !!!I have to say I was a happy bunny after ordering from here,Even the mrs enjoyed it and she’s not keen on a Ruby..Bang on the money couldn’t fault them for anything...Please don’t disappoint me going forward !!

I would only say one thing about Nishan, excellent! Superb quality tasty meals. The manager personally delivered a menus when they moved, as we always used Paprika before they moved premises . Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Have been ordering from (paprika) now Nishan for years. In my opinion the best Indian take away. No other take away comes close to the value and quality of the meals. Already looking forward to the next one. Thanks

Absolutely disgusting service. Manager has NO customer services and is extremely rude. The first time we tried this Indian they delivered our food to the wrong address and it took us going into the shop, the manager making us follow himself and the delivery driver to the wrong address for them to believe us..they never gave us a discount or a token of good will for the messing about that they caused. Tried again this week only because of the cheap deal. It was over 30 mins late so we rung up,the man was very dismissive on the phone, after another 20 mins when I called again he agreed a discount. After 1 hour and 45 mins the take away came -delivered by the manager. We asked for the discount that had been agreed and he refused and then walked away with our food back to his car, so we never even got our food. He shouted at us and was very rude about his own staff member who had agreed the discount. I am not one to make reviews but NEVER go here. It’s worth paying a few extra pounds and giving your money to a service that deserves it.
