Disappointing. The traditional lemonade I ordered was pink and tasted like syrup. Service was also slow.

Romford Brewery Patisserie Valerie café.They call it french patisserie but the croissant tastes and looks like bread and this is definitely NOT morning-made fresh baking. It is a shame for such place to sell its customers old bakery. I wouldn’t recommend it at all unless you have terrible taste. I wonder if covid ‘taste loss’ has helped their business. Really disappointed. I even complained and the waitress couldn’t confirm when it was baked, and not even any attempt to rectify it.We are heading to “Gregg”! 😑

Location of the shop and the space were great and food were well presented. Service is fine!I bought Black Forest Cake, I was told, just arrived, fresh this morning, like every day. But when we tried it same day, we were really disappointed, PV used to be much better, definitely not fresh, the cake, the cream and the fruits, all were tastless! goodbye Valerie...

I visited here on the 11/02/22.. to treat my sister to an afternoon tea with my baby niece. All staff where absolutely lovely 😊My sister is a vegetarian, they adjusted the sandwiches so we had more vegetarian than meat and they even supplied an extra filling, which was lovely. All sandwiches and cakes where fresh, very tasty and well presented.Plenty of drinks available also. The staff where very accommodating, polite and friendly… thank you 😊

It was my greatest disappointment. One of my favourite place is no longer my favourite. 💔 Customer service is so bad that is no point to even explain any more. One word RUDE. Cakes was dry on edge because they are exposed to hot air inside and they are not covered. I always get my forest gateau cake there, my dream cake ( not any longer). Time to find new places to catch up with friends and enjoy gooood delicious 😋 cakes and coffee.

The till service is as bad as it possibly can be, complete disregard towards the client with not even a "Hi". Best buy your cakes from Sainsbury's and enjoy them at home. Far more relaxing than being here.

-1 star experience.Very bad 8" Habana cake. Have been buying cakes from patsserie Valerie for a long time and they were all very good cakes but this time it was extremely dry on the top and inside, will sadly be throwing although the whole cake away only after cutting 2 slices as no one liked it, the top layer was quite stale and small amounts of filling.

The ladies in the shop are so friendly and helpful. Coffee also great. However they totally excelled when my daughter wanted her favourite chocolate cake as a birthday cake, adding strawberries on the top for us. With the cake topper from Amazon it looks amazing and tasted delicious. Thank-you to the team at the Romford branch

I've been here for afternoon tea before and it was lovely. This time around, it was terrible. We didn't get any cream with our scones (we was told after we asked for it that they didn't have any). The sandwiches and the cake slices we received tasted stale and like they had been out all day. The stand we received our food on was bent so it wobbled all the time, also the cups we were given were dirty. I wouldn't be returning anytime soon.

Beautiful place to stay dine in, cozy and very clean environment. Very good customer services too. Thanks 👍 to Miranda for recommending nice breakfast for us, we enjoyed the coffee ☕.
