Wow waht a fantastic restaurant. Unique location that really adds to the ambience and I cannot stress how good the food is here, a really eclectic menu which means something everyone will like with no compromise on quality of food and presentation. Please support this business it deserves every success I am sure it will get.

I absolutely love the new concept of this restaurant,particularly the small plates and sharing. The food was absolutely delicious with something for everyone. If you fancy something lite or heavy it’s all catered for. The setting is wonderful overlooking the lake and the mighty oaks in the park. Looking forward to seeing the restaurant and menu evolve.It’s great having something different, well thought out and tasty. Keep up the great work!! ( some craft ales wouldn’t go amiss) Cheers!!

What a discovery. The new management and menu are fantastic. We ordered a variety of plates both large and small and loved every mouthful. A combination of dishes inspired by all kinds of world cuisine meaning the flavours were fantastic (the fish tacos my particular favourite) It's so nice to have something different in Romford, and the location is beautiful, overlooking the lake. Staff were really friendly and attentive, this place is the kind of restaurant we'd usually go into London for, but it's on the doorstep. Perfect.

Superb food and excellent service. Having heard that the restaurant was under new management my husband, mother-in-law and I decided to give it a try and I am happy to say we were not disappointed. We all chose the fish tacos for our starters. The fish was fresh and the batter light and crispy and served with delicious creamy sauce. For our main course, my mother-in-law and I chose the pork belly which was exquisitely tender and very tasty. My husband chose the Thai chickpea curry which smelt divine and he said was very flavourful. I had no room for desert but my husband and my mother-in-law chose the chocolate and caramel cheesecake which they thoroughly enjoyed. We will be returning very soon!

💰£15.50 Adana mixed kofte with rice and bulgur💰£4.50 sweet potato fries💰£5.50 non alcoholic virgin mojito💰£6 Brown derby dessertYes my foodies today I went to Raphaels which is a halal restaurant situated in Harold hill this place is full on vibes and fine dinning and not to mention the main event the FOOD really nice charcoal grilled food the Adana kofte mix was a heavy hitter for me the lamb was slightly undercooked but nevertheless tasted banging the highlight for me was the chicken kofte wow best one I’ve had soo far the rice and bulgur was a great combo and cooked perfectly wanted more tbh lool the salad consisted of rocket with balsamic which is a absolute fave for me they even gave me some chick pea salad which wasn’t to my liking too strong in taste. The virgin mojito was bang on too but maybe if they added less ice I would had more then 4 sips the sauces and Nan bread were spot what u expect in a Turkish style restaurant. Now for the dessert this consisted of a fresh fried donut with ice cream with all the toppings wow what a dessert! 😍😍😍The service I was provided throughout my experience here was outstanding very aiding and friendly even the owner is a such a nice guy ended up talking and my dessert was getting cold lool 😅come check this place out my foodies bring you mrs mr the lot fine dining on budget 💥

I chose Raphaels to celebrate a friends reunion, booking at the very last moment and was not disappointed. The service was quick and friendly, the ambience was just perfect, overlooking the lake watching the sun set, and the food was just amazing!! The starters with chicken strips were hot and tender, and the mixed grill was glorious, cooked to perfection. I was so impressed at that point I decided to have desert and coffee, finishing off a perfect meal for me and my companion. I will be back, and I highly recommend this restaurant to others!
