Awful chips raw saveloys and expensive, my first and last time

Solid 5 out of 5 here chaps, great food with fish cooked fresh to order, chips always proper and all with banter and a smile, smashing place.

Nice food I like the chicken shish kebab & the cod kids love the burgers to chips are tasty to! Decent portion for a regular i have been coming here for over 9 years now staff are always super friendly 👍😊

Ordered from this place and the order took ages to arrive and what a shock we all had, the fish was smelly and soggy and so were the chips, shame I didn't take a photo before throwing it in the bin! The fish and chips were not fit for a dog, never again will I order from this place again.

The new owner Mus is incredible as his team including AliThis is my local chippy and they always go out of their way to help. They renovated the entire shop ad the last owner wasn't professionalKeep up the good work

This used to be my favourite chippy but recently this place has got worse. Wait for food is now 1 hour, chips are covered in grease. I asked for them to be wrapped separately but they refused. Had the phone put down on me when I asked why I had been charged so much for 2 kebabs. Prices have gone up but quality of food has gone down. Such a shame won't be ordering from there again!

The new owners do everything what they can to set up new standard. We had fish and chips delivered yesterday. Fish was fantastic and you can taste that it was fried in fresh oil.Chips were good too. Nice dinner.

Amazing food with amazing service. 10 out of 10. Cod was soft with tasty and fluffy batter, not too heavy. The chips were cooked to perfection and the chicken was superb. Would highly reccomend!!!

Hit and miss,sometimes the chips and donor meat are really nice and decent portions,then other times they taste dry like they been sitting there all day and Smurf size portion. My last order they send wedges instead of chips!

I've been ordering from Rock & Roe for years and its delivered great food and been good value for money.Apparently they have got a new chef 3 months ago and its gone down hill from there. The last several orders has been greasy and wrong portion sizes. Yesterday was my worst experience ever, the kebab made me very very ill. I had severe stomach pains and was on and off the toilet for 6 hours. Will never every buy a takeaway again let alone from Rock & Roe.
