Romford Fish Bar in Havering

You know what, the food is average. Nothing to talk about but nothing to complain about either, But….I have reached my limit on the amount of chances I have given this restaurant, they suffer severely with delivery. They SHOULD NOT be offering a delivery option. They are incapable to deliver on time, even after giving out such a long estimated arrival time. My ADVICE WOULD BE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU WANT TOP QUALITY FOOD THATS PIPING HOT.

WHATEVER YOU DO... DONT ORDER FOOD FOR DELIVERY!!!!!! BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET IT DELIVERED WHAT A GREAT SERVICE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

We went there to pick up some food yesterday. It took him almost half hour to prepare our food even though there was not any other customers. He then charged me 80p more even though the prices are clearly written there. I don’t need that 80p, but that’s not cool. When we came back, we realised he didn’t put our chips in. There was supposed to be two large chips, but he preferred to put only a little bit (i assume it was one small?). Chips weren’t cooked either. I also had stomachache all night, I don’t know from which one. First time there and I’m definitely not coming back. I would not suggest anyone to go either.

The cod and chips was ok but nothing especial. I wish I could give zero star for customer service. They were so impolite and one of them even rude, as he was serving my chips I reminded him that I asked for a well done chips and he gave me the most scary look, and then in the very brutal way removed the chips from wrap to put it back in the fryer. I fell like me writing this review is a bit of waste of time as they’ll probably care on being impolite and rude to customers!

Tried to call the restaurant and no answer, food was shocking had large cod and chips which was luke warm, feel physically sick tbh and will never use them again, fish luke warm that is basics god knows how will feel tomorrowWell I tried them again tonight and worse than normal, just eat and waited over hour and stated food left in 30, called and spoke to manager Steve who said the driver got lost and then fell off his bike, eventually 3 men in a car turned up when talking to manager who said no-one had fallen of bike or got lost, they gave me food and money in cash but utter liars and the manager was giving them a mouthful on the phone which they said to me he forgot the order hence late. I will never eat here again and fish again was cold and horrific on what I ate .Would like to know if the manager is called Steve ad kept changing and started calling me Steve avoid this place like the plague imo

Ordered a kebab twister chip roll and peri Peri wings and chips got no wings and twister meat not nice and dry

Hi ,I have make order cod with chips and very disappointed quality and tastes.Fish was not fresh and oiled. I eating only few bites and after this in me mouth feels terrible taste.I don’t recommend fish and chips from this restaurant

2 hours to get a delivery why do they accept the orders if they don’t have a driver it’s pure greed they should let the customers know what is going on they don’t answer the phone stop hiding and treat the people who is paying the money to keep you open . I will not be ordering again and don’t recommend anyone else does.

Several reviews here saying the food is awful.. I ordered the staple fish and chips and paid a higher than usual price of £10 for a large fish and small chips. Perhaps due to the price I feel it necessary to warn other customers to either not order from here or to check the fish before you leave. Because my fish was very 'flat' (little there, a few mouthfuls only). Maybe they'll improve in time..
