Staff very well manneredclean establishmentHost friendlyStarter:Poppadoms niceMixed grill ÂŁ24.99 over priced for what it was mainly chicken 2 small lamb kebab 2 mutton chops. Still tasted good naan was good too.MainPrawns tasted like cheap you could taste the sea in them definetally the cheaper ones from hoo hing cash and carry. Literally dropped in a tomato tin with peppers. Genuinely felt like i was robbed. The butter chicken also well over cooked chicken in a tomato based gravy bo butter no cream. My final verdict is the business is struggling costs have been cut. I don't want to be negative to the business as I can see the potential (very clean establishment nice atmosphere). Its on the decline its clear in the quality of food used.To claim to be authentic punjabi and not be able to compete with the dozens of bengali places in hornchurch that claim to be indian is sad to see.

What a fantastic establishment. The food is out of this world. The staff and the owner are all so very pleasant and helpful. I will not eat in another Indian restaurant other than this one best around by a absolute mile. I have to drive 45 minutes to get to it but its worth it.

Booked here for our second visit and our first post covid restrictions, really nice food just like last time but the service is impeccable, one of the owners (Honey) is at the front of the business and leading the way by greeting all guests with a warm welcome. These little efforts make a big difference.

Had a good night at Tandoori Lounge with close friends. The only downside is the drinks options we like to have a flavoured cider and/or a pint of soft drinks but this is not available. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome.

So we have been to this restaurant twice now. And I already can’t wait to go back again.I consider my self a very good cook and me and my family always end up disappointed when we go to restaurants for dinner. But here, I had a totally different experience. This restaurant will not disappoint you. I had an exceptionally good meal at this place. It’s authentic Punjabi cuisine and the lovely staff will cater to your levels of spice. Everything we tried was cooked to perfection down to the meat samosa’s, sheehk kebab’s and curry’s. I had asked for my curry to be “Madras spice” and it had that level of spice. The lamb melts in your mouth and the balance of spice and flavour in all the dishes we tried were spot on.The decor is fab and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. This place truly deserves all the recognition they could get. You can see they go out of there way to provide a great dining experience for all. We will definitely be returning.

After starting the year in isolation it was great to get my foodie year up and running. For this I decided to stay local and enjoy some fabulous Punjabi Cuisine at my favourite Indian restaurant the Tandoori Lounge. I love their Punjabi style of food which is very different to your normal Indian restaurant. This is why I find it hard to understand when I see people turn up look at their menu and leave because if you love Indian food then you will love it here.We decided to go for an early evening table and on our arrival was given a very friendly welcome before being seated at our table. We started with a drink while we had a look at the menu. This consists of vegetarian , seafood , meat starters and mains , biryanis , rice dishes , breads and of course desserts. There is also a good selection of gluten free options just mention when ordering. For our starters we decided to order the Tandoori Vegetable Kebab and the Punjabi Rashmi Kebab with a delightful Mixed Raita on the side. These were both delicious and full of flavour and spice. It was now time to order our mains and we couldn’t resist the temptation of ordering our favourite dishes and also remember you can have each dish as spicy as you like. Again just mention when ordering. We chose the Jhinga Karahi a prawn dish mixed with herbs , spices , onions & peppers. The Tandoori Lounge Special Lamb cooked in a punjabi style gravy. To accompany these we chose the Sag Aloo , Jeera Rice and Tandoori Naan. Every dish was cooked perfectly with the flavours and spices of each dish spot on.Before dessert we had a little break which gave us a chance to have a catch up with owners Sukh & Haneet. They are a lovely couple who along with their young and friendly team try to provide you with the best dining experience possible. So now on to dessert and watch out pastry chefs as I had an absolute delicious Gulab Jamun Trifle a mix of gulab jamun , mango custard , cake , whipped cream , coconut & pistachio. We also had the Gulab Jamun which are soft doughnut’s soaked in a syrup. This brought to an end another fantastic visit to the Tandoori Lounge. Their punjabi style of food is absolutely delicious and so it will come as no surprise when I say that I would highly recommend a visit to this fabulous Indian restaurant. I for one will be looking to make a return visit in the near future.Thank You Sukh , Haneet and all the team for a fantastic evening and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

The food is amazing. We booked this as a last resort as we couldn't book anywhere....we were not disappointed. If you like proper punjabi food (not the typical indian places that are actually owned by people other than people from India) then this is the place to go.

Amazing and authentic Indian restaurant in Hornchurch. It was purely by accident that we chanced on this place in November 2020, and we have been regular with our takeaways ever since. No dining in yet due to ongoing Covid restrictions, but wouldn’t be surprised that the place will usually be packed once the lockdown has eased fully around mid May 2021. Food is absolutely fantastic and the owners very friendly and happy for a conversation. No hesitation to recommend this restaurant - have already got a few of my friends do their own takeaways post my recommendation to them.
