Shish Meze Restaurant in Havering

The food is amazing! I ordered the Mixed Shish and my friend ordered the lamb with yoghurt. They both came with rice and salad! Also, we shared a squid as a starter, that was amazing!The texture of the lamb is soft but not too soft, it’s just right! The lamb with yoghurt dish is off the chart yummy!The bread for the table though, is a cherry on the top. I wasn’t expecting it to be so soft and full of flavour. It sure gave an explosion of taste in your mouth. The addition of the two sauces made it better!I would give more than a 5 star if possible! I will definitely come back! :)Side note, they only have two parking spots on their property. The closest P&P will be Billet Lane Parking, free on Sundays.Additionally, their toilets are cleaned, and gold!

Great ambience with a quite comfortable seating arrangement. The staff was kind and courteous. They were friendly and accommodate us without a booking. The pita bread was amazing and the meals we ordered were tasty as well. Incredible experience from start to finish, will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere & delicious food, however if you visit after 7pm on a weekend expect delays very busy and popular restaurant

Nice place. Great ambience. Hated the music playing though. The seats are quite comfortable and seating arrangement is not too close to other dinners for comfort.To the food.The pita bread was amazing. I don't know what it's coated in but it was one of the best I've had so far.The meals we ordered were tasty as well.The downsides for me is that they didn't have a soft drinks menu. Maybe they concluded that we all drink alcohol. Also I found their menu a bit pricey but manageable.Overall, I might visit again

I came to Shish Meze as I have just moved 1 mile away in Emerson Park, and other Google reviews were very good. The lamb shish was soft, tasty and spectacular. The seafood casserole was far too salty, as was the scallops starter dish. The grilled chicken liver was also cooked to perfection. This restaurant, being Turkish, should ONLY focus on grilled food, which they do so well. Other non-grilled dishes were extremely disappointing. I was also upset that at the time of booking I mentioned it was my husband’s birthday - but nothing extra was done to make him feel special. The waiter was a little rude (asked us 3 times to order drinks within 3 minutes of sitting down) but the doorman/bookings man Omar (Egyptian guy) was really kind and professional. He hung up my coat as it was too long to put on the back of my chair. I may possibly return here in future - but only for the grill.

Food was excellent, service superb, they asked if everything was alright joked around with us but left you alone to eat as well, bit expensive but well worth it and definitely going to go again, the drinks good price like the cocktails

Incredible experience from start to finish. They so made alterations for us as we were running late bless them.My boyfriend and I booked a table for our 10 year anniversary on Monday 15th, as soon as we arived we had such a warm friendly welcome from all staff, congratulations from the host/concierge and prossecco upon arrival balloons on our table and a quiet lovely setting.The decor is so pretty with all of the flowers and gorgeous lights and the customer service is second to none! Absolutely attentive wait staff nothing was too much trouble who made our night incredibly special.Food was amazing! I had the pork chops which were delicious! My partner had the chicken and beef shish also so flavoursome.Cocktails were fantastic especially the lychee one!They made our evening even more special by taking pictures revomendibg cocktails and having great bants.everyone was incredibly attentive and we has the best night ever! They went absolutely above and beyond.They also bought out our cake and just made a huge fuss.Thankyou to Shish Meze for a beautiful night !We shall be back again very soon.5 ***** recommend for a fab night out/celebrating!Date of visit: November 2021

Opulent surroundings , attentive staff and well crafted cocktails made this a very nice lunch . I could do without the pomegranate seeds on the whole meal and the salad dressing seems sweet . The Adana Kebab was under seasoned and lacked flavour . The chicken kebabs and wings were well cooked and tasty

Went to this amazing fine dining turkish restaurant on the recommendation of our neighbours.Was pleasantly surprised. The staff was so kind and courteous. They were friendly with the kids and gave them occasional fistbumps and high fives!We ordered their hot meze platter for starters. Everything was made with perfection. Loved the filo pastry!For mains, I ordered chicken casserole, husband got a grilled sea bass and chicken shish was for kids!Ohh it was pure joy with those melt in the mouth deliciousness! Will definitely visit again. Oh and that strawberry daiquiri was refreshing
