Spice of India in Havering

Excellent service and food. Very hard to find a good Indian restaurant. Curry is not oily unlike other Indian restaurants. Service from staff very polite and friendly. Highly recommended

My partner and I live real close by and have been meaning to try this place for a while now and finally gave it a go this evening, and we were very happy with our experience. The staff were very friendly and always available. The food was full of flavour and well presented. All for a reasonable price too. Indian food is not usually my favourite, but we will certainly be returning.

The food had good flavour. Some portion sizes were pretty small. I'm familiar with Indian food, this wasn't the best I've had. Nice ambience.

A wonderful meal as usual. The food is perfect every time. With the usual prompt delivery. My plain Naan again cooked exactly as I asked! Thanks to all.

The best Indian restaurant! Always great food and hospitality

Have been using Spice of India for a number of years and I can honestly say there is no better Indian anywhere in the area. The food is always top notch and the service is professional, friendly and attentive. Absolutely superb in every way.

First time visit after, oh 10 years! Yes but standards are still the same with great service, exceptional food ( try North Indian Curry or chicken Tava) well done Alum fir maintaining this standard for so long.Highly recommended

I love love love this place, hands down my favourite Indian and it must be everyone else's too as it's always rammed in there so 100% book a table.if you want to give it a try. The service is brilliant, the staff are friendly, welcoming and effecient, and they remember you between visits which i really like. The food here is amazing and one way another I've ordered all their sides and a lot of their mains, I normally opt for lamb anything and its divine. I've never ordered wine here as they have a good variety of beer on tap and they're always super quick with drinks. We order popodoms to start and the sauces are well presented and generous and I love the hot lemon flannel at the end. Highly recommend this place!!

We have just had a lovely family meal at Spice of India where the food was divine. Usually we have to book well in advance to get a table but we're lucky tonight. The staff here are very attentive perhaps overly so but the whole evening has gone really well. My meal was the Bombay Sizzling Tava, photo attached. Spice of India is a bit out of the way unless you live in the Cranham area of Upminster but it is worth the journey.
