Tennyson Cafe in Havering

I love this place! They have decent dishes, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that place is a real authority in the kitchen, I enjoy very much eating all their food. The dishes are always fresh, the service towards the guests is efficient. I visit often this place and I not even once was discontended. I highly recommend it.

This place is a work in progressThey have the basics right - good produce of food proper bacon and proper sausages !!Been in there a few times now and have had a delivery twice-that came stone cold but can’t blame them for that !!it’s the little things like waiting for your toast whilst your breakfast is on the table and having to remind them of a knife and fork etc or a spoon for your tea...Could do with getting rid of the painting on the wall and brightening up the place - get the basics right and they will certainly do well !!

Waited over 45 mins for food and when it arrived it was horrible. Food was cold and mushy, bacon undercooked and full of fat. Ended up leaving and was told by the the young guy dont worry about paying. Women/ new manager in there couldn't even look us in the eye. 1st and last here, will not be returning again!

I'm very happy to eat in the cafe or have food delivered from their. Love the new management team so much better than the original first one. My kids love it in there so bonus for us and the cafe 😊

Ordered from here today from on justeat for delivery.We Had:*2 poached egg on 2 toast*Can of cloudy lemonade*Egg mayonnaise salad*Chips (thin ones)*Crumble and custardDelivery driver was really really nice. Arrived in good time, a bit earlier than estimated. It was around 11:30am. Food was really well packaged up, none of the food was missing order was correct. Food was really warm. Tasted really nice, hygienically prepared. Nice presentation and delicious. Menu good range for nutritional diet.I am unsure about gluten free and dairy free options, would need to enquire.Other items on the menu look really good, for example set breakfasts, burgers, Waffles, milkshakes, pancakes, hot drinks. Desserts

Choice of beef,turkey or pork for Sunday roast, Also a quorn veggie option,i had the turkey which was delicious,and plentiful.There is also at the same time an extremely comprehensive menu.I would highly recommend this cafe,it's light,fresh and very clean.Well done to the new team,great job.

I got a delivery and just finished all of my breakfast, when I phoned after ordering the lady I spoke to was very helpful as I am allergic to mushrooms, food was beautiful and still very hot, I will be ordering again soon, these guys and gals have a new customer in me now.Keep up the great work and thank you.

Come here all the time, the food is really good hot a delicious, quick service, staff are polite. Only waited 10-15 minutes for food which I think is acceptable for having freshly cooked food!Highly recommendOnly thing, glasses and cups are not up to standard but apart from that defo going to keep going!!!

Has to be the best cafe in Essex.Full English is the best with great choices and the food is always cooked fresh and hot. Fantastic staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Good breakfast, staff friendly and helpful if you have dietary needs. All food freshly cooked and good sized portions, well worth the money.
