Visited last night with a voucher for 50% off mains. Food took a little longer to arrive than normal but the two girls Rachel and Zoe saved it. They couldn’t have been more accommodating with our family member having multiple allergies. The only down side was the wait for food but the manageress made sure we were well looked after. My only criticism is that I think you should have more staff on but it will not stop us from returning.

We got the veggie burgers, starters/sides which were all good I loved the cheesy mushrooms, puddings were all good didn't really like the Eton mess. The staff were all nice and friendly, nice atmosphere, would recommend.

When I went there on a Friday evening there was hardly anyone in their, however this did not detract from the fact that it was an enjoyable evening, the meal and drink were both enjoyable. With the staff particularly Emily serving us being polite and professional. Whilst we reserved a table it turned out that under the circumstances as it turned out we did not need too. It is advisable to do so just in case as it is popular.

Great place to eat.Waitress told us 15 minute wait due to a wake being cleared but seated us within a few minutes. Drinks delivered within 5 minutes & food order taken.Had rack of lamb with shepherds pie. What a delight. Although shepherds pie was hotter than hell.No complaints here.

Was taken here for my birthday and what a lovely surprise. Cosie and warm, lovely waitress (Sonia) and great food.. Will definitely be visiting again ☺️

Absolutely solid Sunday roast! Went around 5pm, we left it late to book so wasn’t sure what would be left on the menu. To our surprise, there was a full menu available! The food was great, the turkey, beef and pork belly were all very succulent and enjoyable. Service was also really good!

My husband and I visited here with our children and did not know that we had to book a table as we popped by on the off chance. Very kind owner whom was glad to do a table out of 2 more chairs. Food was absolutely out of this world. Kids loved it so much that they were stealing bits from our plates lol. Will definitely visit here again. Very welcome staff.

Had a lovely roast this evening with my partner and dog ! Our waitress was really nice friendly and efficient we had a great experience. Will definitely be returning now we’ve tried it. Really sorry that we realised too late we had no cash on us for a tip doh !! Just wanted to say that it wasn’t a reflection of anything negative about our visit.

Really lovely meal and friendly staff. I had the lamb duo, which was delicious and my wife had fish and chips. Thoroughly recommended on both counts.The only thing I would suggest to make the pub even better is to put a local beer on the pumps :)

Service was brilliant however ordered the fishcakes which were meant to come with poached eggs but no egg arrived. Later overheard manager telling someone who ordered gammon and eggs that they had run out of eggs. But disappointed but food we had was good.
