Stopped there for a light lunch of fish finger sandwich with chips. The menu says it’s on ciabatta bread but ours came out on economy sliced white bread. The sandwich was tasteless and very sad looking. I left it after only a few bites. The pub itself is very nice so my advise would be to go and have drinks only.

Really good food. Nice atmosphere. All clean and comfy. Will definitely be back repeatedly!

came here a few sundays ago while visiting family. we had the most amazing afternoon out. we were all amazed at how nice our roast meals were. we had pre-judgememts due to other ember visits in the past but all the staff working were very accommodating and friendly. massive thank you to the lovely young lad with the tattoo below the ear, he helped us with my elderly mother who wasn't feeling very well on the day and deserves credit where its due. It is a very large building compared to other embers we've visited in the past which was a surprise but beautiful nonetheless. We will definitely be popping in again when we next visit xxx

We had a lovely lunchtime meal. A good choice of food on the menu. The staff were friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere.

The last time I had visited The Ardleigh, it was known as Ardleigh and Dragon, a Thai restaurant. Well that was years ago. Now, I have visited twice in the last three days and loved it. Food quality is excellent, interior is lovely, fresh and clean. Best of all the staff are wonderful. Friendly, helpful and genuine. They are not just doing a job but the service is actually heartfelt. I'll be back again soon. I think Sunday roast will be next on my list to try out. Keep up the good work The Ardleigh. You can really see the difference and it makes the whole experience so pleasant ❤️❤️❤️

I go here every week with my grandparents and the staff are really helpful and accommodating considering how unreasonable my relatives can be.Food is tasty and reasonably priced, only negative I have is that sometimes the food seems to take a little longer than you would expect, but other than that a great venue for Sunday lunch etc

Great roast dinners. Has car parking but only for patrons. Lots of space inside and a lovely garden as well

·

Thank you to the manager (what a lovely women)for amending the issue I had with the meal the first time around, the second meal was so much better and the deserts were yummy.

The food here has really improved since my past visit, nice large quiet garden area Great for kids as its very big and open ,also has nice little cabins to sit in

The pub was very cold, table sticky, the starters - a plate of wings were rather good so I popped my jacket on to warm up and settled in for a nice meal. The staff had no table presence, there was no exchange of pleasantries, no - “how was your food?” the lad with the mullet hairstyle took the dirty starter plates when he brought the main which wasn’t ideal. The Katsu curry was tasty, small portion of rice. The ribs were the worst ever, gristly and fatty, barely any meat. A tiny portion of chips and a salad covered in dressing despite asking for NO dressing. The Eaton mess was passable but literally 5 frozen / defrosted raspberries and served with a soup spoon! The final straw shall we say we’re the ladies toilets, it stank of ammonia and poo, ok someone might just have been, but the extractor fans were so thick with dust and grim they were just waisting electricity having them on. Dreadful.Apart from the starters being good, anyone who is Vegan or a Vegetarian, there is quite a good menu selection. I can’t comment on the quality but there is a good variety to choose from.
