Two od us, didn't book Sunday lunch 1 30pm managed to get a table. Two parties were going on around us, bit roudy but having fun...no problem. Food was delicious fish was crispy fresh n nice, my friend say lamb was tasty beautiful. What more can we ask. X2 drinks @ £4.50 and dessert @ £6.50 bill £55. I feel for two people is above mid range. As a one off was nice.

Great bar and is always a great atmosphere, I’m so glad it’s back. Would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the toilet attendant blackmailing the coke users for £20 to not grass them up. Really does let the place down. If people are using they should be thrown out. Simple.

I had a delightful meal here having a small celebration for my Dads 60th. It was the little things for me. There was a strawberry and lime in the glass for my strawberry and lime cider. Every time I finished my drink the waitress was prepared to get me another and the chef worked magic on the lamb shank that I order. Beautifully cooked! My only fault was that the chef could of been more generous with the mash as the lamb shank is HUGE. Not a big deal though, was still a very tasty meal. Thank you Brickyard!

Terrible! This was the worse experience we ever had here. We’ve been coming here so the past few years to get together with girls, and every time we had a lot of fun, except yesterday. Upstairs everything was good, we had very lovely waiters and they made recommendations to us what to have for food and drinks. We did have a table very close to the air con which was not that nice at all but apart from this the experience was great.Afterwards, however, we decided to go downstairs to have a few more drinks and dance a little bit as we haven’t seen each other in a long time and wanted to catch up. All the tables were empty and had NO signs on them to say you have to either reserve them or book in advance or they were booked by someone. So we took a seat and enjoyed the night. After some time passed a security guy come up to us and said we have to move as this table was reserved. We questioned this as there was signage or anything indicating that the table is takes or reserved. But we moved and carried on with our evening closing eyes on this. After this yet again we were asked to move as the table was again supposedly booked up. We were very upset at this point as we got asked to move 3 times and none of the tables were reserved as there was no signs and nothing saying this. The security were very very rude and started to take our clothes and bags to kick us out. We were in shock as we were enjoying our evening and having a chat, the evening was ruined as the security were touching our belongings, shouting at us telling us to leave even if we did absolutely nothing wrong. The experience was terrible and will not be going back here ever again.

Have to say was so pleased when the Brickyard opened up again. Went Friday evening to eat with 2 friends and have to say we thoroughly enjoy our set menu meal. Loved the large and small plate ideas. Only minor complaint was that the air conditioning was quiet cold and food got cold quite quickly but waiting staff were extremely attentive and on our way out it was good to see that there were a number of security staff and metal detector around the door which picked up up on this old fogies knee replacement on the way out. 😂😂😂

We ate here last Saturday night. Table for 4. Staff were friendly and efficient. Set menu on the weekend. 2 large plates and 2 small plates... actually much better than it sounds, but not a regular meal as such. Cocktails were really poor! Very, very disappointing. Music is loud, and actually perfect for the clientele who turn up for a drink and the club below. However, this doesn't work alongside a restaurant. Table next to us actually walked out... Management need to decide if they are a cocktail bar or a restaurant....

Super cool restaurant and great food. Our order got through really quickly and the food was great. Staff was very helpful and nice. You can expect huge portions and great quality. The place is really cozy with a nice outside seating area. Great for birthday parties and dinning out with friends.

First time at Smokey's Shack and it was fabulous, service, nice and quick service, friendly staff, love the happy hour, food was fantastic, had a Sledgehammer Burger with sweet potatoes and my other half had Ribs, and man that was delicious, starters were just spot on and deserts was yummy, loved the 2 for 1 cocktails. Will be calling back soon, as prices are very acceptable.Weldone.
