Super well placed and well run sports pub, top quality beer and other drinks, the food was spot on too. We ate in the large beer garden which has 3 great size out door TV’s, watch golf while eating, I never knew I was so interested in that sport!

Loved this pub. Just popped in to wait for bike service so only had a drink but the landlady was lovely. The pub is clean and the toilets are spotless. There is a lovely beer garden at the back of the pub away from the main roads and totally enclosed so safe for children and pets.

Absolutely disgusting service. Came here after years of never coming. My family was local so decided to come here. All night we ordered vodka / rum with mixers. The mixers was flat all night. About a quarter of the way through the night we told the bar staff the mixers were flat, (baring in mind we thought this all night). The bar maid immediately insisted that they wasn’t flat. I asked her to try a taster and after 10 seconds of her pouring they was flat. I said that the drink was flat and with my friend, she shoved her hand in my face and said I’m not talking to you, and continued to talk to my friend saying “im not talking / I’m servicing him”, even though me and my friend was together. She continued to say “I’m the landowners mother”, like this is acceptable behaviour regardless. All we tried to inform her that the mixer was flat. She was so rude it was actually unbelievable. Saying that she would get us chucked out, just because we said the mixer was flat. She said that the drink was not flat and suggested that we pay extra for the bottled drink. This should not have been the outcome due to flat drink, that we had to pay more than necessary. This honestly left a very horrible tasted in after this experience:

What a great pub! Clean and tidy! The staff are super warm and friendly and can not do enough! The pub dogs just add to the great experience! Will def return! Had the tikka masala! Yum!!

Went along for the RPG club (Mondays) which may not be everyone's cup of tea. That to one side, the food looked good and the staff were really friendly. Did a reccy the Friday before and the same can be said. Hopefully, depending on childcare, I will get to go again on a Monday.

Proper pub ain't been for years, but will start going when ever possible, nice pint extremely good steak and West Ham through and through, made an old skool Cockney feel at home. Thanks see you soon. G

The Drill opened its doors again today and I just popped over for a couple of drinks and a meal, both of which were excellent! I can't wait to sample the whole menu in the future. The new and old staff were super friendly and the manager Wayne was very welcoming and was clearly running a well oiled machine. Their social distancing measures seemed to be working well and it felt like a safe environment to relax in. Being a pub garden fan though I was most impressed with their refurbished garden - outstanding!See you again soon!
