The Manor Hotel Restaurant in Havering

Rooms smell of damp cigar . Had window open for clean air bathroom clean and modern but loo roll very cheap if you are after a hot shower go to another hotel .No lift had to carry my heavy suitcase up 2 lots of stairs young lad on the front of house .very rude and unhelpful .older chap had to step in .got told no guest's even tho its a double room. Wont give water told to buy it .Basic breakfast. Dont ask for boiled eggs you get looked at with hate. bacon was horrble .only good thing was coffee machine Parking very tight .Staff need a lesson in customer service .

Nice clean budget hotel.breakfast was ok. Just when booking be awere that the hotel is split onto 2 sites across a busy road. And bar and breakfast facilities are only based on one site,making it difficult to take a drink back to your room. Oh and no ice avalible for that late night drink !!!

Really nice place. A mix up with the photo ID that I forgot but otherwise great. Rooms clean, parking (it’s tight) available and friendly chap behind the desk.

Awoken ( first time ) at 4:30 by doors banging, managed to drop off and was again awoken at 5:40 this time by the staff conversing in what can only be described as raised voices and lots of banging and crashing. The room itself appeared tidy but the bathroom door doesn't shut, when I say it doesn't shut I mean it doesn't actually fit in the frame! .Also if you fancy a snack in the evening, don't bother, there isn't any! You are not so politely told there is a restaurant down the road. Please don't waste your money on this place.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable and clean, however; the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned and the toilet roll was cheap as..

A customer for more than ten years staying at hotel on average twice a month ... Appealing service, a specific room booked due to health and access issue booked a week in advance not only was it not ready but they went on to give me two more rooms that had not been cleaned then had me walk around with handy man looking for a clean room .. went and cancel my reservation, now unable to get my £85 refunded

Nice clean room, comfortable bed but I had no heating and no hot water. Reception informed me their maintenance guy was not in so there was nothing they could do for me.

Needs a refit bathroom door doesn't lock. Carpet has lots of dirty marks. Breakfast was good well worth the money.

I can't say I'd recommend this hotel. Our room was extremely basic, the shower only provided dangerously hot water and the curtain had holes in it. However, the breakfast was very good. I suspect that other rooms had been updated and the building across the road was OK. However, I wouldn't go again.

This hotel used to be great but it’s going downhill fast. My brother and his wife stayed here over the weekend as did me and my wife. He had no hot water and reported it at 09:30am and it was still not fixed by 2pm and we had to go to a wedding. When he asked if he could swap rooms ,the receptionist said they were fully booked but my brother looked on line and it said rooms available,so a blatant lie. When he spoke to the manager, He said he could not move him as the rooms available were more expensive. Absolute terrible customer service.
