The Sutton Arms in Havering

I live locally and haven’t been into the Sutton Arms for a long time. The pub looks soo different but a-lot better! I came in with my husband for a meal which after a short wait came out looking picture perfect. Customer service was above expectations and the staff were very friendly. The staff member that stood out to me the most was Stacey, she was very polite and accommodating to my food changes, and also held general conversation with me making me feel very welcome. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference! I look forward to coming back again :)

I love the Sutton Arms! My top spot for a Friday and Saturday night, DJ Phill plays the best tunes and the staff are so friendly and upbeat. Stacey in particular goes out of her way every time to make our night the very best!

Was in on Sunday night for a few drinks, was having a nice chilled time with some mates, for us to be be greeted at the table by one of the managers Brandon who said that tonight there will be a pub quiz and a small darts tournament to which both offered bar tabs as prizes, we played the quiz and had a great laugh with other customers, however sadly we were not smart enough to win but had a lot of fun playing, we played in the darts tournament with Brandon hosting where my friend Chris managed to win the £30 bar tab, really was a fun night and will defiantly be coming back again next Sunday

Absolutely disgusted with the service here today. The whole table was banned from ordering drinks because one person (aged 26) had forgotten their ID - even if said person only drank soft drinks. Further still they had the audacity to say that if the person WERE to order a soft drink, the whole table needed to order food. We will all be taking our business elsewhere.

Had a good experience there with friends after work drinks and dinner. Some of us ordered through the app and some had to order at the bar as they couldn't find the specific things they wanted I'm the app. The food and drinks came in a timely manor. We then ordered dessert on the app (shared ice-cream) it took almost 40 minutes to arrive and we had to ask a member of staff when it was arriving. She was very apologetic and friendly about the wait bringing the drinks and dessert out. When we were leaving the DJ was playing and it was starting to get pretty busy.

Very large pub and lovely and warm. Fairly priced drinks and quiz night looks fun, however we had to leave before it ended.

Had the best time celebrating my bday with the gyals. Great service, good vibes and lovely staff including a lovely lady that served me. carmenella was a legend! Will be returning 🤩

My first visit to this pub. All the bar staff were very friendly and prompt in serving us. Sadly and unknown to us until later in the evening was the fact that they removed some tables to create a dance floor area. Unfortunately gor us, our table was one of them. A great selection of beers on tap or bottled to choose from. It did get quite busy as the evening went on which is slightly worrying in these Covid times. I'm sure we will return soon again.

Went yesterday at 2pm. Only about 25 people in the pub. Only 2 staff on who totally ignored me at the bar although I was the only one up there. The girl asked my 27 year old daughter for ID, which she didn't have to hand, and we were asked to leave. It spoilt what was supposed to be a nice family day out. I started to wonder if perhaps my skin colour played a part. Hopefully not

I went with work friends and we had a lovely fun experience. Staff are very friendly and cheerful, and there was a happy atmosphere all the time.
